Turns out the chef ironically was put on ICE. Cause, ya know, he was a foreigner coming to work in the US from Japan. Not a joke by the way. That said the owner laughed and invited us to come back next week when a new cook could be brought in.

You shouldn't encourage working mandatory 60 hours a week and not complaining about it, especially if you're in a fucking union. That defeats the whole purpose of it and yet old heads wanna glorify work till ya get laid off.
