Guess who pulled nanally after like, 80 tries, I fucking hate her I don't even like her I just need her for the collection (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
Arc @arc man I can't even get past 70 pulls and time is starting to run out. The gacha in this game is pretty brutal. I feel like I have no chance of getting her until hitting hard pity. Her wall running ability is just too useful to pass up
Oyabun @senpaisamasan KEEP DOING STUFF, COLLECT NEVERNESS AND TRANSCEND TO EVERNESS. No but really there's like a mechanic, that when you're on your 80th pull, the board changes and there's so many nanally.
Arc @arc Ugh, I don't even know how I'm going to get enough pulls to reach that in just 4 days....
Oyabun @senpaisamasan All you need is hathor anyways
Arc @arc jeez at least I got hathor because of waifu on day 1. Didn't know how good she was with mob control. Are you gonna pull for the Eibon shop owner when she comes out next?

Neverness to everness is eh, small business owner sim
Arc @arc are you still actively playing? Even though I like a more dramatic high stakes story, i'm having fun playing the game. I think Anata being delayed really hurt them because people have been wanting an anime GTA game. Or hell, ANY GTA game.
Oyabun @senpaisamasan Yeah, I'm a gacha addict. This scratches my gacha itch, for now.
Arc @arc yeah, it's pretty addicting tbh
Have you done the NPC follow test yet? I followed one crossing the street. She waited for the walking light. it turned green and she started walking. it flashed red and she hurried up to finish crossing the street while looking to the side at traffic. That level of detail was crazy to see. Way better than cyberpunk AI pathing. Maybe that's one reason my PC sounds like it's about to die running this game lol

I see you're having fun building your own video game. Even with AI I imagine it's still labor intensive. I know it's not impossible as there are games like Doki Doki and Undertale, but I don't envy the hours you must be spending getting it all to come together.
How is everything else on the home front? I see it says Georgia on your profile. Did you move away from North Carolina?
Arc @arc nah, i've always been in Georgia. With the game it's been pretty labor intensive even with AI assistance. With unity I can really only rely on the AI to edit assets I've already created. The art is probably the most labor intensive. After art is generated I usually have to go into an editor and fix the issues for consistency. Ideally before I release on steam I'd do a release on itch.io. Hopefully make some money to hire voice over, then character art polish, then spine animation. Probably a 100% financial net loss but it would be fun
Gabriel @gabriel_true Hope it goes well when it's all said and done!

I just got back from MomoCon. I haven't been to an anime convention in years. This was my first time going alone so I was kind of worried about what to do. I ended up getting to talk with the voice actors of Stark and Fern from Frieren. Jordan Dash Cruze likes WWE so I asked him if Frieren signed up Stark for a WWE match against an arcane golem, what would his stage name be. He got really excited and said, "Big Starky" and Jill Harris said that Fern would be supportive of stark during the match but have no idea what's going on.
I also talked to the English VA for Asuka from Evangelion for a good amount of time. I told her my childhood experience about hearing Asuka say a line in english and then rattle off some german, thinking it was so cool as a kid and how she was my favorite character in the show. She was happy about that and told me all these behind the scenes things that happened while voicing for the show. She signed a tumbler I bought at her counter and put in a quote on it too. She's really nice.
Apart from seeing the Smash bros tourney and hitting up the arcade, I made a big point to FORCE myself to talk to people. It's bitterly against my introverted nature. But there I was, standing in line after line talking to VTubers. It was so very painful for me dragging my feet in fear of the next VTuber booth but I actually got used to it towards the end and clicked with some of the VTubers.
For me, cons are a way for me to not fall into extreme introversion of not talking to strangers. I had a lot of fun this year.
