I think my best years might have been just before COVID hit. From there life turned into a bit of a mess. I didn't exactly like my living situation, I was kinda miserable. I hated my home town and the people in it, but things weren't as bad as they could have been. My living situation was fairly stable and while I wasn't crazy about my job, I later realized it wasn't that bad all things considered. Was managing to build up a decent savings. Even found myself in a long distance relationship with someone I met on this site. Sure she treated me like her personal therapist and didn't really seem to care about my problems, and it kinda dawned on me we probably weren't going to be meeting any time soon, if ever, but I knew that was the best I could ever hope for. Then everything kinda came crashing down at once. We sold our house at what was probably the worst possible time, job decided to let me go at the same time, making it hard to get a loan on a new place, and that girl decided to breakup all within the same week. Things only got more fun from there, but this is about our golden years not our worst years... Those years weren't very good, but looking back, it doesn't get much better. Second best might be the time I spent living in the Seattle area. It was depressing in it's own way. work was a stressful nightmare, but it paid well. was also nice to have at least gotten away from my mother, and I even got into some of the best shape of my life.

Well, as someone who's been cheated on a decade or two ago, a lot of the behavioral signs that people think are signs of cheating are actually just signs of disinterest or broken trust. For example. The girlfriend I had about a decade or two ago thought I was the one cheating because I was growing increasingly withdrawn and disinterested in her. So there was a long period of unwarranted suspicion that never really panned out into anything. I get like that sometimes. My adhd causes me to dive way too deeply into video games and anime, and I become despondent to the rest of the world. We have this thing we kinda have trouble regulating. It's called Impulse control, coupled by a strong bias towards highly stimulating visuals. And I don't mean boobs, I mean saturated colors, dynamic fight scenes, and flashy game mechanics. And I didn't know about my demisexuality until much later in life, but that too was misread. So unless you find physical evidence like hickies/lipstick on their neck, outfits with another man's stains on them, or she give's birth to a kid that doesn't share your or her genetics, at a certain point you just kinda have to trust them, even if it looks like the same thing from that past relationship that you were hung-up on before getting into a new one. -passive aggressive leer-

Gonna re-use my Sanji Cosplay for Sugoi Expo this weekend. Got some heart glasses on the way to add to it. I am bummed that Jasson Griffith canceled, but they got Ryan Drummond as a substitute. I can finally have my copies of Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 signed! Been waiting so many years for the opportunity! ☆
