Burn the house down, simple. Kidding....but not really. They're damn near impossible to get rid of without resorting to professional help, seriously. It only takes ONE pregnant female to repopulate and start the problem all over again and they'll hide in EVERY little nook and cranny, not just your bed. So, short of burning your house down, a professional IS needed and then just basic washing and deep cleaning. Unfortunately, many at home remedies won't work (They're immune to MANY at home sprays and unless you kill them all, they just hide and repopulate. Also, unfortunately, you may spread them elsewhere, too. They cling on your belongings and clothes. Clean EVERYTHING.)and heat is one of the best ways that a professional may use, instead. Bed bugs are considered the plague of the bug world, sorry.

I think Bond, James Bond is absolutely the spy (if he was for real). The films have to be entertaining to watch, seeing someone sneak in silently, not engage with any bad guys, and then sneak out over the course of 2 hours isn't entertainment. Being smooth with the ladies, kicking ass, and escaping in a flurry of explosions is.
It's like what Bruce Lee said in an interview... He has to consider the entertainment value of his fight scenes in his films, not how he'd fight for real. He made a point that if someone grabs your arm, you simply stomp on their foot, they'll let go, but that isn't flashy enough for film.
