I think the problem we have as a people presently is that we don't take the time to try and understand the other person's view. A breakdown or lack of communication contributes significantly to many disputes and hostility. Many people have the mindset that their opinion is the only one that matters and therefore become very closed-minded in the process. The hikikomori lifestyle may be a result of people with a different perspective on life being shunned by their peers, so it is easier to remain at home where others cannot judge or belittle them. On the other side of the coin, some hikikomori may look down on their peers for not thinking like them and choose to have an elitist attitude, therefore secluding themselves because they do not want to be corrupted by those they deem inferior.

I've been feeling lonely being by myself and need more friends so I was wondering if someone would hangout with me here in Ohio.

Cana is a fine woman but I don't drink much so I don't think it would really work out. Lucy is cute enough but a little too preppy and prissy and immature for my tastes. Mary-Jane would make a wonderful mother I think.

Here in Portland we have it pretty good sometimes for potential good dates. Meet-up at an outdoor Cafe or the one that is in the worlds largest bookstore. Powell's Books is a cool place even if not into books and can be a date worth of adventure alone in that place. Alternately hit a classy brewpub like HUB. Charge up and roam around talking and flirting between all the mini-parks, public art, the waterfront, or encountering the people that keep the place weird. If she is more the romantic type gonna get a coach ride to a real nice place for dinner and a show. If she's more rock n roll our wandering will cross one the many awesome places to eat that looks interesting to us at the time before hitting the venue we were going to for the concert & rock out. Afterwards roam about closely to keep each other warm, steal a kiss in the moonlight and roam off in to the night to wherever it leads....

I do a lot of hiking and walking. I can't do high impact workouts yet, my knee got messed up in an accident on my 21st birthday of all days! lol

^^ I mean it's not I wouldn't give her a chance outright if she piqued my interest, I just (generally) am not attracted to black American women sexually due to recurring character traits, etc. Just like how I'm not really attracted to Barbie types.
