Aleph brings up a lot of good points about the dating environment. I'm assuming it's more or less the same as it was 10 years ago when I was using dating apps. Here is my perspective from somebody who was extremely shy. Apart from being tall, there are two things that will drive your success with women on apps: -confidence -wit You have to be confident and bold with everything you say. Don't be afraid to be wierd as long as you know the boundaries on what creepy would be. My strat? Mix a cocktail. Get tipsy. Open the app and fire off lots of wild introductory messages. It really doesn't matter what you say, just make sure it is FUN and ENGAGING. It doesn't have to be rocket science. I had a multi-day chat with a random hot girl because my first message to her was "based on your pictures, you look like somebody who hates unicorns." I started getting a 30% response rate, which is huge. If they were boring and didn't engage with banter I would move on. Small talk is a waste of my time, and it's a waste of most girl's time. Just open up that app, and just start firing off messages. See what works for you.

Tune out the visceral violence and the empty static. It's time to break the radio silence.
