Anyone remember the anime scene in the mid 2000s? If y'all weren't there in the late 90s and early 2000s, just know that the Otaku community has a long history of resisting authoritarian dumbasses that try to dictate what we can and can't like through legislation. You can look to the early (and illegal) streaming sites, and torrent hubs as evidence. Complete with predatory ads, spyware, and viruses, we told ourselves was better than the alternative. Well Trump Thumpers. Let's talk about that tariff he slapped on foreign films, deeming them to be a national threat. Guess what this includes. Anime. Guess what we're going to have to go back to? Crappy streaming sites. We'll get through it. This ain't the first time we've been inconvenienced by the republicans. (If you could even call Trump a republican anymore.) At least we have one major advantage these days. We're a much more mainstream community. We're more than the edge nerds, the punks, goths, and anarchists. (And somewhere along the line in those days, we picked up emos too.)

(11:51 PM Sat.) Didn't have paper to make a Mother's Day card this year, so me, my twin and baby brother painted Mother's Day rocks. I based mine off of a dinosaur as you can see, and I'm actually proud of how it came out ^-^. Our mom will hoard these forever and put them on display in our new home lol. Our eldest sister decorated cardboard with handmade crocheted flowers, now all I need to do is go clean the kitchen for tomorrow so that it's nice and clean how our mom likes. ❤️
