Do you really need your bf/gf to like anime?

My last two ex-Girlfriends liked anime to an extent in-fact i was my most recent ex-girlfriend who got me into it with her constant fantasy of one and stuff, but if somebody i had a particular interest in didn't, not a big problem- we all have our own little vice's and dislikes.

Yes in a way, since there are a bunch of anime I don't car for as well as there are a bunch I do care for, so I guess yes in a way. As a Otaku-Adventure we would need to at least have something in common. She would at least need to read manga. I don't want to be with someone who is going to dis my hobby. That would make for a sucky relationship.

Not necessarily, no. As long as I have something in common with my partner it doesn't really matter whether it's anime, gaming or whatever else we might both be interested in.

considering the type of people I normally come across who are into anime I'd say I'd probably be better off with one who isn't into the stuff. but then where's the fun in that? Besides, anyone who's not into the stuff would probably take one look at my room and sprint for the hills.
