Population on this site

Depends, when did you last consider this site to have had a normal userbase? I joined like 4 or 5 years ago I think and the site didn't seem any more active than it is now but then again I never really posted anyway so could just be me

One thing that feels different to me is when I first joined there was more going on and there was a lot more group conversations in the threads vs more one on one and spam messages (Ex last to post wins). Like it felt more like a community I think is a good way to describe it. Not sure if I'm just distancing myself or if it's just how it is.

Population on this site has its highs and lows. More lows than highs. I’ve been here long enough that I’ve noticed waves of weabuus come and go. One wave comes in. A little click of weabuus form. Activity goes up. Everyone in the click is on cloud nine. Then the honeymoon phase is up and they start fighting amongst themselves. The little weabuu click disbands. Time passes, then a few of them bitch and moan about how everyone they liked is gone and how MO was once full of online social butterflies. I’ve seen this cycle a few times now. It pretty funny to see actually. Who knows? You might be part of the next click of weabuus that take over the site. What about me? I’m just the retard in the background trolling and poking people xD

I think peak was during the 2016 elections (based on what I've heard) followed by the covid period. This place was bustling with activity then I miss those days ;_; Unnecessary drama, great folks to hang out with, randomass shitposting
