I’m currently on a schedule of two hard gym workouts a week, 10k steps a day, and intermittent fasting. I’ve finally got that dip from my shoulder to my neck and I’ve never seen that before!
criselington
Hell yeah, how is your running going.

@criselington Right now I got my running on pause but I’m maintaining it by getting my steps in. It’s still just to friggin hot for me to jog.
criselington
I see, good luck with it when it cools down. If you haven't done them before 60/120s is a great way to build endurance and speed.

@criselington 60/120s are a great way to build endurance at the gym, but I only run outside because my insurance pays me by GPS on distance I cover. I thought about sprints outside but I'd probably freak people out lol Are 60/120s what you do?
criselington
You can do them outside and not worry about people haha, yeah before my leg and foot were forever damaged that was my main method of running training. Got me to a 5 minute mile and 12:11 2 mile time also alternating walk and jogging for the120 helps too if you do that
criselington
Now that I think about it, it would be different to sprint where you are since I'm in the middle of nowhere and the people I'd see wouldn't care at all

Crap why did I mark this thread by year? Holy crap I haven't posted my training in almost a freaking year?!? Uh well here is my 2024 catchup. Don't have a gym membership and it's too hot as hell to run outside anymore. I started working out exclusively at home using a resistance bow and stationary bike while watching TV. I do it every other day. I notice the bow I use actually caused marks on my back that makes it look like I've been freaking beat like a masochist on my back. I gotta remember to pad those resistance bands in a towel or something lol

Those marks on your back, did they perchance resemble a demon's face?

Today I got inspired by a game and wondered how hard it was to actually do 100 burpees in a single workout session. The answer. It's hard. It's really freaking hard. I can only do 10 at a time before I looked like a diabetic hunched over a toilet seat after inhaling his 10th double butter steak burger. I pushed through. As soon as my breathing calmed I did another 10, and then another 10, and then another 10, until I got to 100. My muscle strength was there. It's just that my stamina freaking sucks. I gotta keep doing this exercise. I'll let you guys know if I can even walk or lift my arms tomorrow. If I'm struggling to even time now THATS NOT GOOD lol
