That's the thing about zoomers. They don't think of the later only the now. No one wants to die. But eventually we all die yes. But there is nothing wrong with following safety guidelines for a bit longer until the right organization approves said vaccine. I have taken • Yellow Fever • Meningitis • Polio • Tetanus Etc. From working at sea I needed all these. I did not mind any of them because it's been awhile since the FDA approved them all.

@solid_snake95 Well there are big differences between those vaccines and the COVID-19 vaccine. Those rely on giving the body a dose of a depleted virus so the body can recognize the virus without worry of infection. The COVID-19 vaccine is the whole mRNA vaccine style which gets your body to produce proteins that bind to the virus. Problem is that this is the first time it has been done on a large scale and we don't know what exactly is going to happen. I worry about a prion disease way down the line. If 5 years passes and people aren't suffering from degenerative brain disease then I'll consider it.

I got the vaccine, and I don't regret it. I realize people have a right to refuse to take it, but I feel much safer having increased immunity. The pandemic isn't over, but the vaccine gave people more options to dealing with the virus.

Anybody in Cali get their hands on some of those sweet free Gucci bags from that store in San Francisco today? Ever since they legalized crime because it's racist, that place has been a gold mine ripe for the plundering!

@xinmage I had that one too before highschool. I can't remember the rest but it's all the mandatory ones we get at certain ages.

@dyadka_yar The difficulty with prion disease is that it has the same effect as dementia and other brain related illnesses of that type that are genetic. My aunt just passed from dementia and was diagnosed with mental disorders way before the outbreak. My whole family suffers from varying mental illnesses. So even if the vaccine has the same effect it would be just as likely or more likely to say it was from my own genetic code.

@nuke288 I respect that. Only reason I had to explain myself is because there are far left people who oust anyone who have not taken it yet. Seen on Twitter people who say, "WTF IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE WHO DONT TAKE THE VACCINE?! YOU HATE HUMANITY THAT MUCH?!" and all the replies would be people agreeing. Alot of echo Chambers nowadays you can say. That's also dangerous to the point where nationalists like Hitler think their ideals are normal running for office. He was surrounded by echo chamber supporters since WW1.
