Political rants

We need diverse beliefs and healthy discussion. Not witch hunts going on all the time. This is why the internet is toxic. Even tho the block button exists it's also the reason echo Chambers happen because anyone that disagrees with you can be easily silenced labeled as "Wrong" with a push of a button. Only time I like the block button is if someone is bullying me or pissing me off. Lemme edit that last statement before someone gets mad at me lol. Rare occasions I block when I want to avoid pain.

Increased immunity? Funny, people are still getting the virus. From what im seeing its no different. All these old people? They still wesr their mask and have their shots. They are the most at risk, younger people who arent at risk most likely wont die anyway. So is it really helping you? Im gonna start living my best life incase i die from this shit

You should live your best life regardless of the vaccine or the virus. Life is temporary. Death is eternal.

Well you know i WAS until the pandemic hit. Ask anyone i had a trip planned to Philippines that i was supposed to be taking this month last year. Instead im going to another state within the US because of restrictions (yeah some places are open rn but the uncertainty of being able to get back home on time or going places when they can just randomly go into lockdown makes that near impossible to predict) 2019, i made this plan in 2019 it is now 2021.

I want to add on what you said about arguing about semantics. You just sneaked it under the rug like it was nothing. There is a big semantic difference between a city and a state. Its’ just semantics you say. Let’s take the following example: Conversation between 2 people goes as follows. Person A: What state are you from? Person B: Oh, I’m from the east coast. Person A: Ok, the east coast. But the east coast isn’t a state. Person B: Some states are in the east coast. That’s just semantics. Technically it is semantics. But there is a huge semantic difference where meaning is completely lost. Semantic difference doesn’t mean that the answer is correct. The east coast is not a state. Likewise, a city is not a state. I had to nitpick this. Lol, goddamn it, I blame the math background that I studied. It’s been instilled in me to define statements as precise and as rigorous as possible. It’s hard to turn off that switch. Ok, now carry on lil weabuus

If multiple cities within a state ban something, it might as well be the state. Because it is multiple cities representing that state.

If a hurricane hits several states along the east coast, a hurricane just hit the east coast. It didnt hit the entirety of the east coast sure. But it still hit a majority of it. Yes its not the same thing as saying the whole state bans something but its a blanket statement.

Hm we had 2 concerts to see, one of them in Boston and both concerts have been postponed twice now. In 2020 they pushed them back to 2021 and in Spring they decided things weren't to their liking yet with vaccines and immunity and pushed it back to 2022. I don't even care anymore really. I can't imagine going to a concert and having my mouth and nose covered the entire time. Plus if you're up front by the stage and people are just surrounding you, you sweat your ass off. It would suck to be suffocated too.

Bruh imagine if the world shut down over the flu, imagine how crazy that would be. Thats the same kind of energy as the rona. I think the massive deaths out of Italy at the start of the pandemic really kicked off a huge wave of fear mongeirng. Because not alot of people actually die from this virus. A few of us here can even attest to that as they already had it and are still around.
