I heard also on my local news station a few days back that the United States is considering adopting the Australian method of controlling Social Media platforms. According to the news story Australia is or is about to place restrictions on anyone below 16 being on platforms such as Facebook or Instagram. That there are to be fees and penalties placed on the companies running those sites if someone under 16 is found having access to the platform.
