I wasn't prepared to hit Silver Fox age so early in my 30's, heh! As I was checking out at my local grocer this gorgeous young woman running checkout hits me with, "I'm about to get off work soon what's your plans for tonight, Sir." It's the fact she hit me with the "Sir" part that showed she could tell I was much older than her. Even at a casual glance I knew the cashier wasn't anymore than 19 at the oldest. The sticking point was whether she was in high school to which I asked, "You're still in high school or college?" The woman smiled replying that she was a freshman in college. Just graduated high this year putting her age dead on the line for 18 and not a second month older! I was thinking to myself 'is this random 18 year old cashier really flirting with me?' So I started to change the subject back to what course she was taking and made a guess about the name of the college she attended. I was right on the money again to which she laughed since now her and I had even more to speak about. Turned out we had the same hobbies as she loved anime too. Trying not to drag our conversation out any longer as it was crowded in the store and other customers were drilling holes in us for chewing the chaff, I quickly slid my card before reaching out for my receipt. It was there that I got the signal that maybe she was hoping I was going to ask for a number, but against my ego's desire I let it slip mentioning only that I wished her an early happy graduation before departing with the entire stores worth of Fancy Feast for my cat that was on sale. The whole reason I had stopped into the store in the first place was just to get my cat some food. I say life can play cruel jokes on an aging man that's for sure. What it would be like to deage like Walter C Dornez from Hellsing in that moment. But legal or not, 15 years age gap would be an awkward relationship, haha! It was nice to feel much younger and desired for a hot minute again though. God bless that woman's life. She made my night, haha!

@gabriel_true Hey, if you change your mind on the age gap, I suggest going into that store again, buying some flowers, find her at the checkout and say, "I'm not taking those flowers home with me. Those flowers are for you." in a manly, silver foxy way.

I just know I'm not worth it. No one will ever care and that's fine with me. I'm just going to focus on bettering my art and actually writing stories.
