Subbed Anime Syndrome

jacktechno
I think I've been watching too much anime( if that's even possible.) Lately, some of my thoughts have been taken over by Japanese words and phrases. They just pop into my head! I can hardly speak the language, but still...pretty cool. Anyone have the same thing happen to them?

Sou ka na? It can happen. It works wonders when you are also learning Japanese because you become accustomed to the phonemes of the language. It makes learning so much faster and fun.

That'll happen sure. Lot of phrases and terms that get repeated over and over in anime so picking up a few of them is bound to happen.

There are a few celebs, Jackie Chan being one, who've attested to bettering their English from watching soaps and listening to English songs.

Good thing I watch Dub.

I think the Japanese voices are 1000x better than their English counterparts. I can't stand watching anime in dub...it just sounds so silly.

Meh. I think the subs can be better than the dubbed lines sometimes but I don't really see much of a difference between English vs. Japanese voices.
