Someone Who Likes You Even-though They're in a Relationships with Someone

I just act friendly and play it cool. If the person comes on to you just reject there advances. It all works out in the end.

I had to to cut ties with someone for this very reason. My issue was/is, if you can't separate romantic from platonic, it's best to part ways all together. In the end, my ex fell for someone while with me too, but she was at least honest about it and we both knew our relationship was dying anyways. But, in a healthy relationship, the feelings of another should not sway the feelings you and your partner have for each other.

That's not a preferable situation, but if they did like me I would advise them to stay with the partner and let them know I'm unable to pursue the interest, even if I wanted to (which wouldn't be the case.) I understand sometimes you "can't help" who you are interested in but if she has eyes for other people while with him then she'll have eyes when with me. Pass.

Had that happen once. If I wanted to I could have convinced her to leave the guy she was with but obviously didn't, I may not know the guy but that wouldn't be cool. Truth be told I don't know if I could ever really trust someone like that anyway. If they're willing to leave the person they're with for you, who's to say they wont also leave you for someone else?

id feel bad for the guy that she broke up with for me for a little while if we started going out. its not like she will get the guy back if it was a better fit with the other guy. then id screw the both of them if it didnt last long. if we were perfect together then that would be cool

That's just dangerous territory right there, I'd turn her down but gently and convince her to stay faithful to her partner.

I had this situation a while back, I fell in love with a girl, who lived in my city, we worked together and were good friends, had everything in common from music taste, hobbies and life values. She fell in love with me, but she had a long distance relationship with a guy across the country which she had never even met, long story short i put my all into trying to be a good friend and at the same time fight for our future and in the end I was hurt and alone.
