Mhm, it's nice to have that in common with him, we've played DBZ and Naruto games and watched anime together since I was a kid! We've had some heated arguments these past years because of some lifestyle changes I've made in my life, but we've recently started being on better terms as I learned to give a bit more balance to things and he started respecting my choices. How many sisters do you have? Two elder sisters? It's really cool that you're partly Japanese, is it on your mother's or father's side? I guess I like Japanese food and I would like to visit Japan, I think there are some really beautiful landscapes and sights to see there, but that's kind of it!

Nice. Good you have something in common. I hope you get along well? I think the only one of my sisters that isn't anime fan is my older sister. Everyone else is varying degrees of enjoyer. I'd say I'm probably the closest to an anime otaku, but I'm more of an overall Japanese culture lover. Partly because I'm part Japanese, but I think I would like it even if I wasn't. Are there other aspects of Japanese culture you like?

They only screen mainstream anime movies around where I live (DBZ movies, Demon Slayer...) so I couldn't go and watch it at the cinema, but you can bet I watched it as soon as it was available on streaming websites. And yep, my brother likes anime too!

Your oldest sister has great taste too! Well, I love Gintama for the jokes, parodies and 4th-wall breaking but the more serious arcs also have amazing writing and character development, it can get really emotional sometimes... Also, I have an older brother.

I don't get all the jokes, I don't tend to get 'dirty jokes' but I love it still. It's so unserious that anyone can feel a little more relaxed at the end of a stressful day. My oldest sister loves it, too. It's her personal favorite anime. Are you one of many or are you an only child?
