Ahoy. I'm alive. Things are pretty much unchanged as of late. I did find out my baby sister is planning to elope with her Canadian bf of 3 years. So I'm having a hard time keeping my mouth shut to my other siblings. Because she only told me so far. lolol.
How are you feeling lately? Did you do anything fun for Halloween?

Ahoy, Yuu! XD It's been a while, so I figured I'd check in and see how you've been. Hope things have been going well and you've managed to catch a break from all that work lately. How's life been treating you, Madame?
Shizuki Okabe @healthy_walrus Well, alive is a good start lol. That's quite the secret your sister dropped on you. I've been doing alright, just the usual work and life balance. I was planning to go to a costume party for Halloween, but work had me pretty exhausted, so I ended up staying in. How about you? Do anything fun?
yuuzora @yuuzora I spent most of my Halloween driving, but I did go to the bestie's Halloween party. I was super late though, so I didn't get to see everyone's costumes in full form. We didn't get that many trick-or-treaters either. It almost seems like a dying holiday around here. What were you planning on dressing up as? I went as a faerie type thing, but I forgot to take a picture of the dress. lol. Does it get very cold where you live?
Shizuki Okabe @healthy_walrus That's good at least you managed to make it to the party, even if you were late. XD A faerie costume sounds pretty interesting. Shame you didn't get a picture! I was planning on dressing up as Shinjiro Aragaki from Persona 3. And yeah, Ohio gets pretty cold, especially during winter. We get our fair share of snow and freezing temperatures. Does it get that cold where you are?
yuuzora @yuuzora Yeah, it is a dress I wear fairly often, so I'll try to take some pictures the next time I wear it. Looked up Shinjiro Aragaki, you'd look awesome doing that! Is he your favorite from Persona series?
I've heard Ohio gets wayyy colder. What's the coldest it's ever been? It does get cold around here (Around -14*F) but we haven't gotten much snow the last two years. Which is bad because we life in wildfire country. I'm in Eastern Washington, if I didn't say it at some point. We're like the sage brush and tumbleweeds sorta environment from the Western movies and shows of the 1950s and early 60s.
Shizuki Okabe @healthy_walrus You'll have to post a picture of that dress sometime. XD And thanks! Shinjiro is definitely one of my favorites, especially since Persona 3 is my favorite in the series. Ohio's record low was around -39°F, which is ridiculous lol. But -14°F is pretty brutal too. I didn't realize eastern Washington was that dry. Does the wildfire season get pretty bad out there?

Happy Halloween. Have fun, stay safe. Here's my annual Halloween piece.
Turkey (Day) Mommy ® @wei_ying This is so cute! I love the way you drew the lady's hands. You get better each day! ❤️
yuuzora @yuuzora Aw, thanks. Hands used to be one of my challenges, but since doing a couple studies of the old masters like Da Vinci, I improved. :)
Turkey (Day) Mommy ® @wei_ying Keep it up! Your improvements are definitely showing ^^.

Audiobook Voice Actors?
yuuzora @yuuzora
Ahoy everyone. It looks like a surprising amount of people wanted to see Queen Among Monsters turned into an Audiobook.
I was hoping for different voices for the characters, at least a split between male and female voices. I can do the female voices easily enough, but I need help finding a male hobby VA that wouldn't mind possibly doing spicy scenes. I'll be looking on BlueSky, too, but I thought I'd send out the message here to see if anyone would want to try it out and see how it goes. I don't have money, but I have art to give as an exchange. I also will have a paid position next year when I do the audiobook for my original project. So is anyone interested? Or know someone who might be?
