Get yourself a real girl like Shaula who will wait 400 years for you to come back and still be so loyal that she's ready to die for you on a whim... This season of Re:Zero keeps on delivering top-notch episodes, I'm blown away by the amazing work they're putting in this!

Come on now, you're not that old XD Also, nuh uh, you should puff out your chest and be proud of your VN achievements! Ah yes, I can relate to the long backlog shenanigans... Yeah, Higurashi is pretty long, I actually started reading it back in 2023 but put it on hold at some point, lol. About Katawa Shoujo, it was interesting to see a romance VN about characters with disabilities since you don't often see anime, manga or VNs with most of the cast being disabled, including the MC.

Haha no worries, no need to compare. I'm just too much of a granny, nothing to be proud of! T.T xD Ohh nice, I've loved Fate/Stay Night back then too. Though I don't think I'd enjoy such stories now, kinda grew out of high chuuni/battle stuff....too granny.... Higurashi: Nice, I loved the old anime and still want to read it someday...someday......my backlog is too big, orz. Take it easy with Higurashi tho, its long as F .... Oh yeah Katawa Shoujo was really nice too, def an unique VN.

To be honest, I've read a few VNs, but I definitely haven't read as many as you XD My favorite used to be Fate/Stay Night, but I'm currently reading Higurashi (on chapter 6 now) and it's definitely my favorite now. I know they're probably nowhere near as good as their VN counterparts, but I really enjoyed watching the Rewrite and Summer Pockets anime adaptations! I haven't taken the time for it yet, but I do want to get into Clannad and Little Busters too at some point. As for romance VNs, I read Katawa Shoujo and it was great!

Hiii :> Omg I have waay too many from reading VNs for over 15+yrs xD But I guess its probably my first VN: Little Busters! (or anything from KEY really). Any VN with good romance is good imo. What bout you?

Oh, I've just remembered a visual novel I really enjoyed which I found out about a few months ago. It's called Yet Another Killing Game (if you like killing games, then I guess the title is pretty self-explanatory lol) and it's about a girl waking up with no memories in a mansion with 2 other girls that seem to know each other but don't know her. What I like about the game is the 3 girls that each have their fun antics and interesting personalities, the awesome soundtrack, the good-looking art and the wild plot twists that are really out there and that you don't expect. I highly recommend it!

Since everyone gave recommendations, I'll give you another one of my recommendations! It's a (free!) indie VN game I found on Steam called Lucid9: Inciting Incident and it's actually the first part of a full game that should come out at the end of this year. This first part is only around 10 hours long, but the full one will apparently be 40 hours long. Anyway, it's about a university student called Yama who encounters a private detective and ends up investigating a series of disappearances and murders in his city. I really enjoyed the game because of the well-written and colorful cast and their fun interactions, the great music, the nice art and also the captivating plot and mystery. The mystery is especially interesting to me because it's not obvious at all who the killer is (you would never expect that person to be the killer) and some psychological elements are thrown into the mix too. The full game also seems pretty promising so you should check it out!
