My mother is in the hospital with a psuedohernia. They're trying everything they can before surgery because it's a very risky scenario with all her other health problems. So I won't be on for a few days.

Day 23: I wish I was cocooned inside of a warm, fluffy croissant rn. They should have a blanket like that.

Sadly I had to work on Halloween. Our manager has a religious to Halloween and wouldn't let us have Halloween music either. But I did get my speaker and played the soundtrack of The Nightmare Before Christmas after she left. Me and some other coworkers put extra candy on the ice cream for some kids in costumes. I did get to make some Halloween art photos posted online though. I may have to request time off next year much earlier.

Day 17: So, how did you spend your Halloween this year? Did you become a Ghostbuster? Maybe you became Jack Skellington this time around and are making your rounds horrifying innocent trick or treaters? Well looks like 2026 will potentially a big new start for me. I am officially training for my CFP (Certified Financial Planner) license in late January. Just gotta stock up on extra dark espresso coffee for the additional caffination I'll be needing.
