ah, I already knew him, from several years prior actually, also saw that video. The only reason why I stopped watching his content, is that he went a very different path when Brooke broke up with him, it kinda changed him for worse and he hasn't really recovered from it ever since, don't get me wrong, every now and then he still produces one good video out of the tens he gushes out, it's just that the original messages he was giving out, the representation of what VRChat was about and the sketches it's all gone with more senseless humor.
gabriel_true
Gabriel @gabriel_true Ah, I see. To be perfectly honest I hadn't watched him in a minute (Nor am I subscribed, haha!) But he was the only virtual reporter I could think of.

Gabriel @gabriel_true The life of a wartime reporter is one filled with excitement and tragedy, heh! It was also the backstory of the protagonist from Speed Grapher. Now whenever this guy holds a microphone up to someone their head will undoubtedly explode!

I don't remember when was the first time I said it, I do remember tho, that at some point I reached the conclusion that having expectations in others it's not only extremely unfair, it's also toxic... This comment was brought up upon by something you mentioned on the forums about perception

secretagentboi @secretagentboi My bad that's a reference to a game and I couldn't hold back

Gabriel @gabriel_true It has been said that how one judges another is by that same measure judged. It's agreeable to never ask something of someone without first being able to put that thing into practice. However, if one can do what has been asked and recognizes equally that within another then by no means would that expectation be unreasonable. I knew a man well who was never asked of for responsibilities. He aslo refused to apply his own sleeping talents for fear of failing. Last I was made aware that same man lays comatose with a bed he's never once made. Let us not be like that.
swadian
DEACTIVATED @swadian My approach to it it's more about... Hmmm how should I say it, I divide things between expectations and contracts. Expectations are whatever that you think about in your head though you also never convey to the other party, it's like a secret hope that they will do/behave/achieve something without them ever knowing about it, thus, it's toxic When your intentions and expectations are voiced then it becomes an agreement, why? Because both parties need to discuss it and reach a compromise on it, if they can't, then it means the communication failed and its still an expectation not bounded by agreeability
gabriel_true
Gabriel @gabriel_true Ah, but one should not have to verbalize to another the need to wash dishes, clean house, or do their own laundry. That's an expectation no one needs to say aloud to another adult, but sadly for some, it becomes a necessity. Alternatively if someone shows up on another's doorstep with a plea for assistance and that individual has already offered great help previously, should there be no expectation for the one asking help to put forth their best effort in correcting their own situation rather than acting frustrated upon hearing the assiter's question of what plan that individual is willing to commit to?
swadian
DEACTIVATED @swadian I mean, most couples eventually reach agreements on who does what around the house when it comes to house chores, so it also falls in into the category of agreements. More often than not what truthfully happens is, one part will do a lot of house chores hoping the other will eventually keep up the pace but most likely won't, until the former explodes in a fit of rage. Just because something should ideally be in such a way doesn't means it will be in practice
gabriel_true
Gabriel @gabriel_true Hahaha, fair enough!

https://youtube.com/shorts/veSD300VXGg?feature=share4 I finished yugioh vrains, it had a good rushed ending but ended sadly though they say it continues in dual links
gabriel_true

joemama711
Under The Mistletoe @joemama711 Im tempted because it was 120 episodes i watched through and they made me feel sad over a AI vacuum cleaner lol.
joemama711

gabriel_true
Gabriel @gabriel_true You are never banned in my heart!
joemama711
Under The Mistletoe @joemama711 Haha <3 whatcha been up too though? What did you do with your break btw
gabriel_true
Gabriel @gabriel_true I take it you're asking about my absence at the beginning of the year. I had posted a brief explanation of why I had stepped out, but I can say that it was anything, but a vacation. My father was arrested and was facing a double felony. During the in-between time of his arrest and sentencing I was having to run clean up on his responsibilities if only for my mother's sake. My mom has a number of health concerns both physically as well as mental. This dilemma wasn't easy on her. Which by proxy made things difficult for myself. Fortunately after months of back in forth with attorneys along with help from the victims a settlement out of court could be agreed upon which allowed the judge to drop my father's charges to a misdemeanor. Then right after that had been delt with wouldn't you know my sister's mom dropped dead of a heart attack. So on behalf of our father I stepped in again to assist her. That all aside. I survived to say the least.
joemama711
Under The Mistletoe @joemama711 Holy crap thats a lot to have to deal, I can see why you would be away for so long
gabriel_true
Gabriel @gabriel_true I appreciate you asking. It helps to talk.
joemama711
Under The Mistletoe @joemama711 You're a good friend so i dont mind lending a ear
gabriel_true
Gabriel @gabriel_true Speaking of ears, what's the news on your side of the internet?
joemama711
Under The Mistletoe @joemama711 Hmm well besides trying to maintain a balance of not being deppressed and selfnloathing, still studying even though I question my abilities and life, works been rather inconsisent but i get paid well anyway( all last week except thursday and friday I just sat in a chair lol). Me and folks been going to the mall every saturday and im just tired, not sleeping well. I dont wanna cook or do anything really
gabriel_true
Gabriel @gabriel_true It pains me to hear you're going through that. It sounds less like depression and perhaps something medical related draining your willpower. You appear fairly cognitive when we speak, so perhaps there is more to it than apathy?
joemama711
Under The Mistletoe @joemama711 Ive never really been consisent with nutrition, exercise or self care, it could be something but im not sure and sadly dont have health insurance anymore, could be a multiptude of things but thank you for caring!
gabriel_true
Gabriel @gabriel_true You're welcome. I've had various relatives share similar obstacles in their life. From afar I can only see what you've shown and despite any shortcomings that may have occurred you've also proven to me you are capable of great things. May your future be bright and this current present fulfill you, friend!
joemama711
Under The Mistletoe @joemama711 Life is pretty rough as a adult even if you prepared you could be thrown a curve ball. I've somehow gotten myself out of every rut ive been stuck in so hearing that is very encouraging, I only hope the best for you as well partner!

DEAD ACCOUNT @hibarisan Hmm not really i just want blade from honkai lol you ?

Gabriel @gabriel_true Well since you're curious, yesterday afternoon I helped a friend build his Elemental Hero deck for Yu-Gi-Oh. We tested it against my Amazement traps as well as Gravekeeper's to which they performed admirably. Of course I held back by not including any hand traps to break the fusion combos that Hero decks are known for. Had I then maybe it wouldn't have done as great. But I also didn't want to break my friend's spirit...yet...
gabriel_true
Gabriel @gabriel_true My friend was even asking about entering a tournament. I enjoyed the enthusiasm, but I politely curved it by suggesting maybe sticking to casual for now. I don't want to lose a dueling partner too soon!
