Yeah there is indeed a lot. WOA is pretty good and imo better than MO both in community and functionality. I mostly say this since at least WOA has a block feature as well as other means to make sure your profile is private if desired. Yeah I'm not a fan of huge groups either but having a small one doesn't work either since people eventually get bored. I'm trying to find a good middle ground. Maybe 30 or 40 people would be comfortable. 50 at the most. As for being a parent; yeah dealing with some people - young and old makes me not want to have any kids. Dogs and cats, but not kids XD

Yes it is. I did warn her, but its not like we didn't join other sites too. She reccomended Anispace - a site she was already on. And I found another which is brand new and is a few months younger than Blargaria: Qoutas. Its pretty similar to WOA; being similar in design to facebook but with much smaller user bases. Looking right now, WOA has 3113 members. Qoutas (I call it Q for short) only has 582 members. It looks promising. I don't know of the group you speak of, but the big reason my group is so small is because until just recently; Blargaria was a closed group. Most of the activity is in its group chat which has some people not on the Skype group and vice versa. I mostly used facebook for just getting the news and a source of random memes and artwork. But now I actually talk to people thanks to the group. Thankfully most people understand the whole social battery XD

Here's the thing; I wouldn't call it dark times. I looked at it as a vacation I unintentionally took to be away from people and recharge my social batteries. Most of the people in the group aren't too active anymore. At most 5 people are reguraly coming in now. A lot left or full on stopped coming in, leaving me to remove them. We're down to 25-ish people now. (I have a few back up accounts in the group, I think one or two others might have one) the FB group I think is at 22 or 23 now. It wasn't active till I started adding people from WOA. The site has narrowed down to just me and my co-admin Tashina. I am giving up on it since I tried a month or two ago to bring back the old users as well as new ones. A couple people posted, and a lot of people logged back in. I had a couple people join but most posted nothing. I will however keep the site up since it did have the best run out of all the sites (personal or social) I have captained. The friend of mine who came to MO with me from WOA is Kan. She isn't too fond of MO (I guess because she met some desperate or thirsty guys as soon as she joined) We became super close friends pretty quick and I am very fond of her. If you want to come back; you're free to. I want to try to get some new people in as well as some old ones. That was the case for except for a few people on my site and the Skype group since it has massively downsized since you were around. I joined another anime social site called "World of Anime" and I tried getting people to join either the Skype or Facebook Group or the site. I've been a little successful in this. I decided to come back since a friend of mine from WOA and I were looking to make some new friends. I am pleased that I am finding more people who pleasantly remember me than wanting to murder me here XD

In the end, I chose communications technology. I just recently graduated and now I serve as a freelancer editing videos for clients... still looking for permanent position somewhere though.
