wow there is a thread like this??? perfect! now i can ramble how much ever i want to >.> Researchers have found few colonies of bacteria who communicate with each other similar to how our neurons inside our brain communicate! This was astonishing since its the first time living neuron-bacterias were found XD But on the funnier side, if we can exploit it, then we might be able to store information in those colonies as different patterns of bacterial communications (similar to how our brain stores information in the form of patterns of neuronal communications). And if we are able to achieve that feat then we can make artificial brains made up of REAL ALIVE BACTERIAL CELLS! And literally store our memories and what all in it XD The Philosophical side of that feat if achieved is even more amazing.. as from the bacteria's point of view they are just communicating with each other and reacting to their environment, but as a collective group those communication patterns are actually INFORMATION WHICH WE STORE IN THEM!
