I also gotta agree that older animation from around the 80s/90s was the best (at least for me). Anime today is too reliant on CG and also looks too "clean" (same issue with non-animated movies in general). I like the more "rough" looking animation, especially during action scenes.
Off the top of my head, Akira probably still has the best animation that I've seen. I haven't watched Gunbuster yet but it looks like it has some pretty solid animation as well.

I need help I have a dakimakura body pillow 160x80 and its very shitty it has stuffing in it but the case is made of cheap fabric that has ripped. Im searching for either a completely new insert that isn't garbage or just a case to transfer the stuffing. However the measurements seem difficult to find if anybody has knowledge or can help point in a good direction that would be great. I've looked from daki sites to Amazon just to find what I am looking for but can't find it

Tony Hawk Pro Skater drops later today, and I look at the timer on my pre-order of the game like it's a count down for a bomb... only instead of a bomb explosion, it's an explosion in my pants.
So then there's Rodney Mullen, the greatest flatland skateboarder of all time, and his stats in the game better reflect that!
-Won his 1st championship at the age of 14
-Over the next 10 years, he won 34 out of 35 freestyle contests
-Is credited with inventing over 30 skateboard tricks, including the ollie
When you see other pro skaters doing freestyle and flatland, you make statements like "Cool trick." But when you see Mullen, you ask questions... How tf did he do that? Did I just see that correctly? How is that possible?
