I think the hardest part is being here, hoping someone is interested and either getting, 'Good Luck with that!', or 'I'm already taken.' XD

I was asked which person I would choose from the band SCANDAL. My problem is that I dont know which member of SCANDAL Im attracted to the most... In their own way each one is perfect! Tomomi = Cute Rina = Pretty Haruna = Sexy Mami = Sultry Its actually impossible to choose between them! Cant I just have all of them??

*Wants an animal hoodie, with little ears on top* I dunno why, I just really like the hoodies. Also, one of my character designs has a hoodie with a pumpkin design on the hood. She is, you guessed it, a witch. I really want to see that hoodie made. *nods*

To me, the Christmas season doesn't really start until after Thanksgiving. I don't really do much to decorate my apartment because I live alone and I don't really see much of a point in putting a lot of decorations for myself that I'm just going to have to tear down in a few weeks anyways. Same with a Christmas tree. That's what going to my parents house is for. Now, if I had or lived with a significant other, then it would be a different story entirely.

I've been looking for a while for any nekojin in the state, specifically around the Houston area. I'm just curious to see who is out there and if they wanna become friends and whatnot. Sorry, it's late and this Nekoonna is tired while typing.

There's a manga called 3gatsu no Lion that I've been reading and I really like what I've read so far. Are any of you reading it and if you are what do you think of it?

@Tobi You could also cosplay a goron if you're into Legend of Zelda and just say you're a variant with lighter skin and darker decorative marks. :D @Kye You could probably pull off Nanao if you like Bleach and prefer something a little more conservative in clothing. Or, if you feel comfortable in skimpier outfits, Lara Croft'd work. :) I'm just basing this off of your profile pics though. As for the OP, I'd only ask that for a cosplay meet or cons. It'd be a little too weird to coerce a partner to cosplay for cuddles.

Now, I've never been to Sakuracon, but a good general rule of thumb is to have enough money for food, transportation, room share (if you're staying at the con hotel), badge, the dealer's room/artists' alley, and some extra just in case you have an emergency/need cosplay repair stuff/ etc. A good idea would be to also keep your State ID, insurance cards, and cell phone on you at all times, just in case you get hurt and/or need to call your ride. Volunteering can cut some of the cost, but you're also trading con time for that. A lot of what the conduct stuff is is common sense. For example, if you see people escalator surfing and know that it's dangerous, then don't do it yourself and call security. I've seen at least one con-goer here in Houston hurt themself by doing that. If you plan on cosplaying a character that wields a weapon, make sure to check the con's site for their weapons policy. Most don't like live steel, even if peace-bonded. As for what to bring with you, if you plan to stay at the hotel, of course the basics (clothes, toiletries, etc), as well as anything special you'll need for coplays. Also, shower at least once during the con, more if you've been running around a lot. Also, though it is tough b/c you'll be very excited, do try to have a regular in room-by time and go to sleep then! That way you won't be so run down by the 3rd day. If you plan on commuting to the con (I reccomend this if the con is within a 90 min drive), leave the con at least 30 mins in advance of your drive time+ the bedtime you set (I usually had an 1 hr drive to my place from KKC, so I'd leave around 1:30am to get home, get changed and chores done, then sleep).

Heh, my Uncle's retired Navy. My BA'll be in English with a Creative Writing Focus (I've wanted to be an author since High School) from U of H (which, suprisingly enough, is the number 2 school in the nation for that focus). JET's been getting bigger recently, so I hope they'll accept me when I'm ready to go into it. Thank ya! ^_^

While Egypt is first on my list of Travel, Japan is definitely second on my list. I do intend to apply to the JET program once I finish college with my bachelor's. If you're able to pass their application and interview process, you'll need to have a few thousand bucks to get started as a teacher over there, but it's a great opportunity to live and work in Japan and to study the language immersively. I'm currently aiming to become fluent in the language so that I can do well in day to day life over there. Note: While you don't need to know Japanese to be accepted, it will really help.
