Rare Anime

I was introduced to anime long before I even knew what it was. When I was really young I saw Chirin no Suzu (Ringing Bell) and Panda and the Magic Serpent (the first color anime). I'd recommend watching both. But be careful, Chirin no Suzu is really sad. Anyone else seen anything rare?

My first actual anime growing up were Voltron and Robotech back in the 80's, although I didn't realize they were anime at the time being around 5 years old. The series that got me seriously into anime was Sailor Moon back in the mid-90's when it the first 65 episodes were airing on TV before it got put on Toonami a few years later. One classic series I watched several years ago that I enjoyed quite a bit was Future Boy Conan. Not a lot of people have heard of or watched it.

Future Boy Conan is a Miyazaki work?! (no wonder the main characters seem familiar). I never heard of it, but I'll attempt to check it out.

Oh! And princess jelly fish and that anime with the girl with blue hair eye patch and ripped maids outfit! I can not find the anime for it!

It's really hard to find some Cutey Honey episodes, over the various runs it's had (esp. English subbed). I watched what I could find but wouldn't mind seeing it all in full with English subs again.

I have a couple more I forgot to add. More recently I've watched Jigoku Sensei Nube (Hell Teacher Nube). Also the OVA for Ninja Gaiden.
