Basically, starting around 8 or 9, Monday nights at the Down & Over on KK in Milwaukee are anime night. They'll be showing movies and short run series pretty much by request. 20% off drinks for people who show up in costume.
First installment was Cowboy Bebop: The Movie. Next installment is fLcL from start to finish. Come on down, watch some anime, enjoy a refreshing beverage and mingle with pleasant like minded company!

well i dated this girl for 2 and a half years. met her long ago at a borders in the anime section and yes i was there too. i recommended a few manga series to her and went from there. i treated her to a coffee and we both zing'd. it was great went to conventions and you kno over time things change with this relationship. i was in college alot because im double majoring in theatre and arts and electronics and soundboard for being an anime voiceover. im a charmer in what i do and well she started to treat me like garbage and blame on me alot about useless reasons to make me feel im the bad guy. so she wanted to end it. im not worried. i knew this was coming. this wasnt recently lolz. just saying if you wanna kno more about what work or kind of person i am. always feel free to send me a text. until then i bid all of you ado

I haven't seen a thread that asked this, so I wanted to ask. Do you guys Make or buy your cosplays?
If you don't cosplay, which would you choose to do ?
If you bought your cosplay, where did you buy it (online store wise or other), how expensive was it? Was it a good deal?
I have never bought any of my cosplay. I made every thing from the wig to the shoes. But its a pain when it eats it's way through your convention money ..

1. Yaoi/Yuri, I am male, that doesn't mean I like yuri.
2. Sunshine. I don't "hate" sunshine, but I honestly find cloudy/rainy days a lot more uplifting than the clear and sunny skies weather.
3. *insert popular American/Britist show here*. Sorry, I just don't identify with the characters very well. (although I do love British humor, as long as it doesn't degenerate into sexual jokes)
4. Feminist/Diversity/Racial-Equality organizations/movements. They get so "Yay! Go Team! Stick it to the man! Put us in our rightful place!" that they don't even realize what they do, and then you end up with them all playing the part of the oppressed for far longer than what is natural. I know it sounds like I'm a hate mongering Imperialist, but I've written and spoke extensively on this and similar topics. I want people to be people, not subgroups, so stop acting like one.

Oh god, I love Urushihara's artwork; so shiny and bright. I've got a wall scroll of a picture of Chun Li drawn by him.

Several others but I could go on forever.

By people accepting the outcomes of their actions, they gain control of their fates. If they’re determined, anyone can end the cycle and balance their life indefinitely. But I, of all people, know how hard it is to accept a fact of life that may be painful. The countless unrequited loves I have had, the social isolation I experienced, these are facts that I cannot change. All I can do as a person is accept the law of equivalent exchange and take control of my own life, and my own exchanges.
Sadly, I know countless people will deny my theory as unscientific, unquantitative and unsupported. However, if my theory does prove correct, those who can accept this will find it does exist to some extent. I can already say that the law exists in physics, so what is not to say it cannot exist elsewhere?
