True but not everybody can afford a dermatologist. That's why sometimes its better to get something off the shelf as long as it works. I'm the master of omurice. But, not the regular omurice it's... fancy? It's got a creme sauce over it and inside is shrimp and whatever veggies I feel like putting but you can bet there is a caramelized onion and mushroom! Also hayashi omurice is omg yes! :) I don't like ketchup over my rice, so I had to think big. :P

Some of my favorite non-Japanese rock/folk artists include Naked City, Animal Collective (mostly pre-Feels but Strawberry Jam is great), The Mothers of Invention, Joanna Newsom (obviously), The Velvet Underground, Xiu Xiu, Talking Heads, Sonic Youth, Aphrodite's Child, and many more. I also definitely dig contemporary hip-hop (going to see Chance the Rapper live in two days so pretty hyped for that). Also quite a bit of jazz. I saw Neutral Milk Hotel and Youth Lagoon mentioned in this thread which I definitely like.

Well vice can mean alot of things besides just the custom main view that it means sins and as mentioned above so I agree yudodat. Although im sure there are exceptions out there where some people could really be vice less such as monks possibly.
