You may see me on the thread a lot saying things like the idealization and romanticizing Japan and it's people won't tell you the whole story. Well, let's look at the flip size of Japanese college students romanticizing America. If you live in America, you know we aren't exactly "cheerful" or "friendly," even as a stereotype, when it comes to being in the service industry or any job that deals with people (which is a lot), we do have to put on a personality. In fact, personalities change from state to state. Being in Southern California, we always say "sorry" on the bus if we brush against someone while compare to NYC when I went last summer, no one cares cuz there is more common since many more people take public transportation than in So Cal. How accurate are us Americas considered in the video? If you live a different country other than Japan, does your country also see these stereotypes in Americans? If you live in Japan, is this common for young adults today? What about other ages?

Although all neet-one was doing was imputing his opinion as inquired to the question, he isn't a mind reader, so the reaction was upon his guess... Merely overreacting on a simple input is what causes a calamity. There wasn't any trolling, it was simply his opinion, and it does not mean his is better, nor lesser, just a word among a dictionary, no reason to get mad, a calm re-correction is all that is needed.

I'm a bit of a social drinker for sure. As far as my poison goes: It's Whiskey. If beer it's an IPA, like Dogfish. @ Boundbyluck - Nightclubs are really just the worst. You're right. Half the people there have fake ID's, knew someone at the door that let them in or is the owners daughter or something. The thing is they don't care. If these kids took that chance to get in they are going to spend some money while there, and that's all they care about. If the girl is getting abused inside, of course they won't report it. How'd she get in in the first place? Yeah, not a door they want to open, and that makes them despicable. Younger people love that scene and would prefer not to go to a bar with a local live band. Which is FINE by me because that's where the real experience is. I guess that comes with age.
