(This time, there's a topic title) Ok guys. I'm looking to buy a gaming computer so that i can start back I playing Skyrim and other games. Also, I'm runing out of space and I'm sick of using a mini HP. What kind of models, video cards and such do you guys recommend?

That be cool... Go to a FRY's. They have all the parts there you'll need, if there is one in your STATE. An ASUS is a good computer for gaming though.

it's cheaper if you build it yourself.. or have a friend build for you. theres a few websites out there that can do it if you pay for shipping and handling. http://www.ibuypower.com http://www.originpc.com/ http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/ If you don't have allot of money... any decent off the shelf mid tower should work just plug in a graphics card atleast 150$ and an extra hard drive or two.( and make sure to uninstall the PRe installed stuff)

uhmm... do you need specific part recommendation or store recommendation?? As for stores I'm really not sure since I'm from Norway but as for parts A decent system you can get from about 400-500 dollar (if you search at the right places) for this setup: Cooler Master HAF 912 Plus Midi Tower XFX ProSeries Core Edition 650W PSU AMD FX-8350 8-Core Processor @ 4 Ghz Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3, Socket-AM3+ Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 8GB CL9 XFX Radeon HD 7970 3GB GDDR5 Seagate Barracuda® 1TB Samsung DVD Writer, SH-224BB Yeah... that's pretty much the strongest I can recommend for a price tag lower than 700 dollar (you didn't specify price tag so XD) Or you could just go OVERKILL and buy an Alienware or ASUS GAMER

Instead of the 7970 I would go for the r9 280x since it's exactly the same thing but at a lower price tag (at least on ebay uk). The CPU you could go with an i5 4590 or 4690k (sometimes it's the same price as the AMD one) and motherboard for that CPU could be anything that is ATX size. @ESPR's suggestion is one of the most solid ones, I just added few things for completion sake.

Thanks guys. All great advice. Price is irreverent at this point in time. I don't mind getting what I need over time. I'm not in any rush but in terms of price, I suppose something Under $850 should do just fine. Any suggestions on game recording devices?

Well my best suggestion would be a Elgato Game Capture HD or Roxio Game Capture HD ^^
