Yeah, it was pretty much just a competition. And like I said in a different thread, Naruto and Sasuke are opposites, or foils, of each other. As Sasuke doesn't want Sakura but gets her, Naruto does want Sakura but doesn't get her. Their being complete opposites is one of the main focuses of the series. You'll see down the road that Naruto tries to make Sasuke more like him, but it doesn't take.

@Yamada I only ask things of people that I'd already expect from myself. So, I have plenty to offer. If the thread were "What you have to offer people." then I'd be more than happy to. However, it is not. So I will not. You can read my profile or send me a message. And if you think about it, that whole "values" thing is what I'm suggesting. js...
