I get games in seconds both from a combination of being well known amongst the community and having the experience to know how use the system.. getting the games I want however is another matter. using match maker with my Hi MMR means I gotta carry games with ppl that aren't up to scratch while fighting against ppl that are. thank God server browse has returned. never use mm solo.

I wanted to make thread to civilization horror stories. Like your tank loses to a spearman. I'll start... I was playing as American and I ain't the modern era. I was trying to take this city from Saudi Arabia with modern armor. They had rifleman(civ 3) so I thought it would be an easy victory. I sent 5 modern armor units to take the city(yes I know that's over kill but my luck isn't so good with random number jesus in civ3). All five modern armor units were destroyed by one rifleman unit. I eventually took the city with Marines but that event killed my blitzkrieg. This thread will probably die since I know a lot of people don't play civilization anyways... it's worth a try

I've got a list of cosplays I've always wanted to try, but I've been homeless and rather moneystrapped for about 4 years so I haven't got to yet.

constant practice is something that should be done. just like anything constant practice is required or you get rusty. just got myself out my slump recently. I set an alarm for a time I'm free everyday and write 100 words of something minimum. it doesn't have to be good. it just has to be something. you will realise that you get good days and bad days regardless of what you're doing. but because writing is on your mind daily, it's much easier to pick up the mindset to write.
