Do you have to be SEXY or PERFECT BODY to cosplay these days?

I lost weight before considering cosplay, and now I stay thin in order to cosplay. But do I need to be thin to cosplay? No. I see people that are technically "larger" than their anime counterparts. Do I care? Not really. If I cared that much, I'd go look at pictures of professional cosplayers in my room all day.

thanks guys with how naked 90% anime girls are now a days to actually cosplay as the good ones it a thread now to be skinny now a days i figure the only way to enjoy cosplaying is too become skinny or nobody will respect how hard you made that costume but thanks to you guys support i can finally work up the courage of going to a convention and show my skin cha!!!*eyes lit on fire* yeah!!!! im going to cosplay as a half nakie chick >=]

People dont give a crap and some people do.. ive seen many people who cosplay a character when they are purple and the character is green （｀ー´） Just have fun~

It helps, but with creativity you can accomplish anything. Whatever it is you want to do, I don't think you should have too many problems with it.

Fuck the haters, do what you love to do. If more people just did what they love and less people hated on others, the world would be a better place
