Hello, I talked about this with some people and wanted to share something with MO since I was part of it for roughly 10 years or so.
So... This site over the years saw me developing as an individual and making baby steps towards betterment, my personality at it's core hasn't really changed all that much, however my values, tolerance, likes/dislikes and acceptance of others have drastically changed over the years, and now, I finally managed to take the step towards my own happiness, I actually moved forward to talk with specialists on getting HRT and becoming a trans woman.
It's something that has made me depressed for many many years, has made me angry, has left me hurt and confused and has brought me to the corners of attempting suicide for many years, I had initially given up because I was obviously too old to do the process without complications and also because of my surroundings, the complications involved, the witch hunts that develop on my country over this and so on.
I just wanted to let others know that it's alright to be happy and search for whatever makes you complete, whatever your calling is (so far it's legal and doesnt hurts innocents) please dont give up on it, we have only one little life on this condemned world and we better make the most on this lend lease we have. I hope everyone else can find their own little place in the world and solace in that things do eventually get better, dont give up and keep fighting!.
I don't really use MO very much tbh, I probably check it once every 3 months or so to answer, tho I'll stick around for a week to answer any questions people might have.
Also dont give up even if you find people who tell you you cannot do something just because they have miserable lives!!! never give up on trying to find someone who's actually willing to listen to your issues and problems in depth, let the old ignorant farts keep being old ignorant farts

Well welcome back and I'm glad you came to that conclusion. I also come bearing character development news as well. I got a promotion at work. I currently work as a sous chef leading my own team and we are doing the best in our region as an underdog location since I came into the position. I also am a gym nut now constantly going to the gym and gained massive gains. Cosplaying Gojo at the anime matsuri convention in Houston in August as well. Expect pics on here from me. Going to do culinary school thanks to my job recognizing my cooking skills. They want me to get officially certified as a chef. Plus I am still pursuing my pre-law degree. So I got alot of good things in the works.

Been trying to find the best words to convey this without coming across doubting or challenging your reasoning for this change. I am all in favor of you improving in a healthy manner. You should follow through with the goals you've set for yourself.
What I desire to highlight now at the crossroads of this arduous path is to remember a key component of your transformation's foundation. One no human can succeed without.
The ability to accept love.
Because you mentioned not being able to express it sincerely to others. You've also mentioned looking at your reflection and feeling apathy towards self. These two afflictions are symptoms of a core injury. A wounded heart! Until that component is properly healed any changes to the outside may not be enough to give you peace of mind. I'm only asking that you place equal if not greater importance on finding inner peace that transcends physical appearances! So that no matter what comes in the future that core foundation within doesn't break under the weight of disappointment!
We're all battling our own pain in our own ways. However the most successful people are almost always those that can love themselves no matter their form, background, upbringing, beliefs, or situation! They recognize that they are worthy, as they are, to receive love and don't doubt their own purpose in this world. Though you say you have done wrong in the past, I believe you're more than capable of doing right not by others but by your self! YOU ARE WORTHY! YOU ARE LOVED! You only have to accept it and there you shall have it. In the end I felt I needed to let you know this. May it serve I and you well as we are both travelers on this road called life. It's been an honor to know you as the man you currently are and the woman you are to become. I accept you both in whatever form that may be. Please be kind and accept yourself as well, friend! You'd be surprised at how many people like you for you no matter what you are. And thank you, Swadian, for taking the time to read all of this.
