Mommy’s Random Thoughts

(11:28 PM Wed.) Went on an impromptu outing with my family today. Our mom got a rental car today so she could take our grandma to a doctor's appointment, but the car rental place didn't have any regular cars to give so they let her use an eight passenger minivan. She told us to get dressed randomly sometime in the late afternoon. We stopped by Dick's Sporting Goods so our baby brother could buy some knuckle wrap-things for boxing because he wants to get back into it when we move, so he's decided he'll train on his own for now until then. Then we went to Costco to get some storage containers and dinner, it was delicious! I had a delicious salad, and a cookie and strawberry shortcake sundae for dessert!! After Costco we dropped off our frozen treats to the shelter shack (we call our house that) before heading to Wegmans to get some cases of water cause we ran out. Our mom got us fries from Chick-fil-A since apparently dinner wasn't enough XD, but it was nice and salty after all the sweet treats. It was a very nice day today, we had fun talking and singing loudly in the car. I even let my second oldest brother here my impression of an Indie singer singing Friend Like Me from Aladdin lol and Louis Armstrong singing Five Nights At Freddy's, he said it was low-key catchy sksksk. We also witnessed a poor pedestrian almost get ran over by an impatient sack of sweet potatoes while driving home. I told my mom to bump harshly into his rear to teach him a lesson (and maybe slightly ram him off road), but she didn't listen to me (and that's why I don't do the driving XD) and she just loudly beeped at the psycho before driving off. Besides witnessing an attempt on that poor man's life, it was a great end to the day. ❤️

(8:46 PM Thu.) Happy October 1st everyone! It's officially Spoopy season, and the perfect time for pumpkin/pumpkin spice flavored things, though I probably won't be eating much of those things this year cause money lol. Y'all make sure to get all the limited pumpkin stuff you can for me! ❤️ Edit: I apologize for the above statement. I've been trying to speak more positively over myself/life, even in the tiniest ways. So, it doesn't matter what my current circumstance look like - I WILL be able to taste pumpkin stuff and tell everyone about it, thank you. ^-^

(7:34 PM Fri.) Look at God! I know it's something so small and simple, but look what I found lying by my head while asleep!! They taste so good and I'm trying not to eat them all in one sitting. I just love how He's faithful to answer even the small desires/wants. So, yes, I in fact did have a pumpkin spice flavored something (caramel today) and I was able to tell everyone about it. Yay! ❤️

(6:43 PM Wed.) My tongue is getting that disgustingly weird taste again from not eating in two days *insert distressed face here*. I really hate it and I feel I'm constantly trying not to make a disgusted look because my mouth feels weird. It also doesn't help I'm on my period so I feel extra tired cause of bloodloss and cramps, not to mention the lack of nutrients in my body...that's probably why I'm tired most the time not going to lie. But, it is what it is. Actually, it's pretty frustrating sometimes. I feel like I'm a very simple person to make happy or pleased, and sometimes all I wish is to be able to eat anytime I want, even if it's small lol. But, I feel like there's something I'm missing with this whole thing...and I've been asking God what that is because sometimes it doesn't seem normal the way we lack, but, I hold on even when it's hard because I've seen enough of my God to know He's faithful even when I'm confused.

(2:30 AM Sun.) Our mom's Birthday was yesterday. Despite it being an unconventional Birthday this year, I believe she truly had a great day, though I wish I went upstairs earlier in the morning because our mom went out Birthday shopping alone >:3. I suppose it's alright though cause I showered her with plenty of kisses when I saw her. She was out most of the day shopping to be honest, but as soon as she returned home we ate dinner and watched a movie. We finally got to see The Sheep Detectives and it was honestly such a cute and funny movie! I love George the sheep, he was just a baby and soooo adorable, and the movie was honestly great overall. Which is great since most new movies nowadays are so boring and the same concept, this one was original and put together very well - it's a movie we want as physical media honestly, it's so good it can be a part of our CD collection. We sang Happy Birthday to our most beloved woman...four times or more because we were horrendously off key lol, but we were laughing and having fun, so that's all that matters. Our mom is still upstairs looking through old videos of us...I tried to hold on but I'm really tired from getting up early so I just kissed her goodnight and got one more Happy Birthday in– it was a great day. ❤️

(1:31 PM Sun.) Happy November 1st everyone! I hope everyone's month is starting off great? It's my second oldest sister's Birthday today, so I'm chillin' upstairs with my family while the Birthday girl scrapbooks and draws (she's an artist). Other than that, the end of October was definitely interesting. It's interesting because I ate a cricket yesterday...my sister got them from a store cause she always wanted to taste them, so I decided to try one because if she does something, there's a high chance that I'll try it too. The flavor of crickets were sour cream and onion, and...they surprisingly weren't bad, just very bland, like the shell of a sunflower seed in taste. It's surprising I even held one, let alone eating a cricket, cause if you were able to see me irl you'd quickly see how terrified I am of nature in general lol. I can at least say I tried a cricket. But, you'll NEVER see me trying or holding a spider, dead or alive.
