(8:54 PM Wed.) Sometimes I think my baby brother will make my stomach burst one of these nights XD. Lately I have been taking time to watch my baby brother's favorite YouTubers with him just to spend some time with him...but each time we watch something he wants to prepare some noodles or a hot pocket for me late at night as a small snack to eat with the videos.
I know it's probably not particularly healthy for me to eat when I feel full/not hungry, but he gets so cute and big-eyed as he asks me could he make me anything. So my answer is always yes or else he won't eat even though he's hungry.
He's so adorable and I can't help but to look over at him while watching our videos rather than watching the video itself.

That sounds like a memory to treasure. There always comes a time where siblings have to go their own separate ways in life. I'm happy that you are making the most of those memories while you can. You'll think back on them fondly one day.

Speaking of corn syrup...(Other thread, but it connects. ;P)
Sweetness overload! lol I'm envious, but keep it up so others have something to potentially shoot for.

@arc @yaasshat Definitely! I'm not even away from my family and I hold memories close and always look back on those things fondly XD. I especially try to do so with him as there's quite the age gap between him and the rest of us, so he sometimes feels left out cause he can't do some of the things we can because of that age gap.
Sometimes he tries to grow up too fast because he wants to be an adult already lol, but I try and do kid stuff with him to show him to treasure childhood while he still has it.
I told him no to watching something tonight...but the way he looked at me before I came downstairs makes me feel bad, so I might go back up and watch his basketball stuff XD.

(6:01 PM Fri.) Got woken up at 11 AM today by our mom telling us we need to get up and discuss family stuff, she almost gave me a heart attack because I was worrying about what could be the issue. When I went upstairs to say good morning to mom and dad, I see the situation isn't serious, but there are presents lined up on the table near our living room window.
Today was game day! For those who don't know, my family dedicates a day in December (usually a couple weeks before Christmas) for Game Day™ , a day where we choose different kinds of games to play all day and rack up points to win the grand prize. This year there were two grand prizes that went together and my twin was the winner this time, beating our eldest sister who had a streak for two years (she wasn't pleased with the streak being interrupted XD, but she still had fun!)
We played reindeer games (a game where you blow up inflatable antlers and have two people tie them on to be the "reindeer", breaking up the rest of the party into two separate teams-red and green-and throwing inflatable hoops onto the antlers), I was the reindeer again this year and crushed it (again ^^) and because I suck at throwing, I didn't want to be chosen to throw red teams (my team) hoops...but at least I know I'm not Rudolph, cause this reindeer crushed those games; the second game was a ball toss (but we used Christmas bells) and had a minute to get as many as we could into cups lined in pyramid formation (our dad crushed us at that game lol), third was a cup grabbing game (called: head, knees, cup!) the objective of the game is that-let's say-a group of five lines up to play the game, you put cups on the ground (one less than the number of people playing) and the referee (our mom in this case) shouts a command: "heads!" And the command has to be followed when she shouts it, when you get to knees you crouch low with your hands on them waiting for the ref to shout cup, if you move without the command being shouted you are disqualified and don't gain a point for the grand prize/get any candy, but if you follow the rules closely and manage to grab a cup from your opponents, you win and they are out of the game. You dwindle the cups until there's only one on the floor and two contestants left standing (I ended up not playing that because it's a quick draw type of game and my family were playing rough XD, I didn't want to break a nail. But, I came in as a South Pole Elf® and shouted the commands our mom was supposed to, if they listened to my voice instead of Mrs. Claus, they were out for that round). The fourth game was another cup lineup but with cotton balls on them, we have those little party blower things that curl into themselves and you have to use those to knock the cotton balls off the cup without knocking the cup down itself or you'll be disqualified, and the last game for the grand prize was Frosty themed bingo.
My twin (as stated earlier) won the grand prize, which was a giant sized Hershey's Kiss and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. After she opened the grand prize, we got to move onto the dice rolling game where we have to roll a certain number to open gifts (this year open gift was 2, 4 and 6). If you roll a 1 you steal a gift, you get a 3 you trade one and 5 was switch gift right/left. I got lots of candy, new boots, silly cat earrings and a cat picture of one's I've been collecting.
It was a very fun day for everyone and now we are ready to decorate the gingerbread house and eat dinner. ❤️

(11:26 PM Sun.) Celebrated our dad's Birthday today. It was definitely unconventional from how we usually celebrate it as we couldn't put up decorations for him this year, but we still had fun with him nonetheless.
Our parents were out most of the day to buy running shoes as that was the only gift our dad wanted this year, and our mom and dad wore matching Grinch themed outfits and were complimented by everyone they came across, especially couples who definitely were complimenting them because they totally wanna do that with their spouse as well XD. It made their day to be complimented in that way.
They were gone most the day, but it was just fine as they both barely get alone time together and it seemed they really enjoyed their special time at the mall and lunch ^^. But our dad was definitely excited to come home to-in his words-"His babies!" Also, that excitement was because we stood at the door to scream "Happy Birthday, Dad!" At him and hand him the cardboard we drew and wrote on together (we couldn't get paper this year lol).
We ate salad and popcorn chicken for dinner and then watched Christmas specials. Our baby brother is trying to catch a sickness that our eldest brother has, so he cuddled up to me...which I complained about because he always wants snuggles 10x more when he's unwell XD, but I held his hand during the movies anyway despite any complaints.
Our dad then took me and my sisters downstairs for girl time (which was playing a game of cards) before he took himself up to bed, twas a very fun day! ❤️

I thought you said salad and popcorn at first which to me was an interesting combination to be eating.
Then I read the part about chicken and I forgot popcorn chicken is a thing.

(7:19 PM Fri.) Celebrated the last Birthday of the year yesterday (my second eldest brother). We had fun watching Christmas specials and watching him open gifts; he got two lightsabers that he was excited to see, a Darth Vader hooded varsity jacket and anime glasses (the one's that light up when you push them just like anime characters that wear glasses do) and some other funny/cool stuff.
We spent the rest of the day just chillin' together and watched Sonic with dessert since him and our other two brothers got tickets to see Sonic 3 in theaters today, they all enjoyed the movie and were so excited to see Shadow (and our eldest brother was really trying to convince us that he didn't like the first two movies lol).
In other news though, I've caught a chest cold from my baby brother who was so insistent on snuggling me when he was sick...and getting sick is what I get for giving in and letting him cuddle me XD. But, I thank my body who has been putting in overtime to get rid of this sickness, seriously, I've had heat flashes from it fighting off a fever (which I didn't get) and my chest is heavy with the mucus buildup from it trying to catch pathogens. At least I know my body is a fighter, and it better be moving quicker cause I'm not being sick on Christmas Eve and Christmas UwU, it's simply unacceptable.
