@yaasshat Oh! Yes, that makes perfect sense. I'm sorry I assumed...I just got worried seeing that sometimes, but now that I know I am good XD.
I think that's just beautiful then ^^. You are already doing right by them and yourself by simply wanting that and trying to act those things out as well, I know it won't mean much coming from me, but I am proud of you for trying. Keep it up, Ya-Ya! ❤️

(12:59 AM Mon.) Finished my adorable baby puzzle, isn't it cute? It's one of the prizes I won during the games my family and I played on Father's Day. Also, meet the cat I s̶t̶o̶l̶e̶ was kindly gifted by my eldest sister. I named him Lofi (pronounced low-fee. Fee is said like fee in legal fee). She made it and he was so cute my brain said snatch it while my fingers twitched at the thought, but my reasonable side said not to take it-but I did anyway! So now he's mine!
It's alright though, she's very strong and I know could have taken it from me any time when she saw I hid it under my shirt XD...but she put up a weak fight and was giggling the whole time she was "wrestling" it from me, so therefore she must want me to have it UwU. I really do plan to pay her for every crocheted stuffy I s̶t̶o̶l̶e̶ borrowed from her when I have the cash, I do hope to support her projects and business some day. ^^

(11:21 AM Sat.) Had a really long day yesterday leaving to Virginia (it took 5 hours to get there) to help out our aunt (adopted aunt more specifically) move into her new home. Poor woman has no one in her own family that wants to help her...they are honestly so upsetting in their actions towards her all the time, but I digress now before I start ranting.
The temperature outside was definitely way cooler than on Thursday when we had to leave somewhere, so that was nice, though we ran into a slight issue at the beginning where the sun melted off the sticky layer on the rearview mirror XD. Luckily we had a very strong and fast drying glue, so we just glued it back on and went on our way. It was interesting to see how beautiful the scenery got when heading into Virginia, they have A LOT of camping and fishing material lol.
My twin, second eldest brother and I rode with our eldest sister and had some good laughs along the way. Though I was fading in and out of sleep most the time there because we woke up early XD, but I still had fun! When we arrived to our aunt's we checked around the house and decided it fit her very well, then we all helped move the boxes into the house and left our mom (she's an amazing organizer) to place the furniture and other things where they need to go. I ended up doing our aunt's dishes the whole time there and it took me about 3-4 hours (I was NOT about to let her eat out of those plates and pots).
It was about 9-10 something when we left her house and our mom (who drove a separate car with our dad, eldest brother and baby brother in it) immediately went to find us dinner, which was WaWa (as that was the only place open). Because of my family being large and the very late hour, the gas station workers needed quite a bit of time to make our food , which was perfectly fine as we are very patient people anyway lol. We finally ate dinner around 12 AM the next morning (which is today) and left for our house. My siblings and I just found it hilarious how different crossing out of Virginia and back to our house was, the immediate chaos of a street fight in a McDonald's parking lot and the sound of police sirens was drastically different from the calm nature sounds of Virginia (where our aunt was at anyway). But, we live in sector 7 of our neighborhood and are close to the deep part of the hood- anywho! It was a fun day despite the abysmal traffic at first! XD

(11:55 AM Wed.) I fed myself in a proper timeframe today! I stated a couple days ago in the thread "What parts about yourself do you wish you could do better?" That I need to try feeding myself and sleeping in a proper time, it's only been one day so far and I don't know how long I will keep it up...that self-discipline I mentioned in the same thread still needs some work lol, but I did eat breakfast today as I also woke up early.
I woke up today at 6-something and only waited 4-5 hours to eat breakfast, which is good considering I usually wait until evening to eat or just the next morning...I usually only have one meal a day usually. I also need to work on my snacking problem, I have no issue snacking on things, but when it comes to actual food I notice that I don't consume that as much. Since I was small I believe I've always had a smaller stomach, but the way I eat food now just doesn't seem like that too much.

(11:35 PM Fri.) I think something bit my eye when I was asleep yesterday, I think it's still swollen a bit and everytime I touch it it's sore in a specific spot. The dang bugs are attacking me in this house now lol.

(2:34 AM Mon.) Celebrated my eldest sister's birthday yesterday, it was a great day being thankful for her life and how she's been such a blessing to our family ^^. She had a Garfield theme this year as that is one of her favorite cartoon characters, she was smiling the whole day, and I know her face must hurt from doing so as she often comments that smiling a lot makes her cheeks sore.
Staying true to the Garfield theme we had lasagna for dinner, and fries and mozzarella sticks for appetizers. We went out to Cold Stone Creamery as a part of her dessert, I got the banana pudding flavor with 'nilla wafers in it (I LOVE banana pudding!) and it was super delicious. Then we came home and sang Happy Birthday to her very loudly and probably off key for most of us lol.
It was a great day with the family. ❤️

(5:21 AM Mon.) Writing a story online that's taking me forever cause I keep stalling it lol. It's up to 7,767 words now...and I just keep writing, it's not even a multi chapter, it's a one shot based off of the main character's loved one (an elder) getting dementia and it's symptoms. I was inspired by my own grandma and how quickly the hidden condition/disease has eaten away at her mind.
It truly is sad how quickly she deteriorates before us hour by hour, day by day, week by week, month by month and year by year. Sometimes it's so unbelievable my family and I just laugh...not at her or what she's going through, but because it's really just so sad to see the confusion and disarray her mind is in that I guess we respond with laughter.
Ah, anyhow! I am trying to write the character's perspective from one of denial at first...kind of like when some people never think a certain situation (usually bad) could happen to themselves or someone they love dearly, totally opposite from me and my family's reaction, but I wanted to try a different perspective of how someone (maybe) could react to such a diagnosis. I keep writing it however and won't stop XD, I just have to add a mix of fluff with the pain because it's what I love doing sksksk.
I'm pretty sure my writing isn't that good...but the people I write for always seem to enjoy my random whims when I do so, so that always makes me happy ^^. And writing is fun to do as well, so as long as I have fun (and if others have fun along the way with me), my heart is content. ❤️

(2:35 PM Tue.) Sometimes the new generation of kids truly are built different XD. I never thought someone could sometimes fuss about the silliest things and also be so strong and determined at the same time.
My baby brother dislocated his thumb yesterday while teaching our eldest brother some boxing moves he learned from his coach, our eldest brother's elbow crashed down onto our baby brother's thumb at the last second when baby boy went for a side punch. That was hard enough to dislocate the joint, and out of concern for our baby brother (though our eldest one tries to act like that's not it lol) he didn't want him to fight anymore. Our baby brother apparently gave him an unimpressed look, said, "I'll be fine." Then proceeded to pop his own thumb back into place twice, ON HIS OWN!
Needless to say, when he came home and our eldest brother sang his praises and told our parents, there was much joy on our dad's behalf that his baby son is so tough XD. Our mom and I told him to never complain that he can't do chores because his legs are sore from working out ever again, baby brother also stated he will, as quote: "tell this tale to my children and grandchildren."
He's a trip! But he's my trip. ❤️

(3:05 AM Thu.) That story that I said I'm writing about a character's loved one (an elder; also, their parental figure more specifically) getting the symptoms of dementia (based off of my own grandmother's symptoms) is now at 9,070 words and keeps going XD.
Depending on how much I keep writing, I may have to split it up into two separate (but very long) chapters. I just always have fun pacing (or attempting to pace) my stories, I know I am for sure a sucker for the "filler" stuff like writing people having fun or getting into some silly trouble, or characters talking nonsense or going to lunch; and for some other characters, it may be them bonding with family. That's mainly what happens when I write XD, like right now, I am writing the character being exhausted after coming home from work and eating a very late dinner with his friends and two of his youngest children by his side.
I have had people comment on my stories before that those moments can help the angst be heartbreaking later...I don't mean to go so hard on the angst, but I have also been told my stories give my readers emotional whiplash lol (in a good way). They claim that when I write things happy and fluffy that it is VERY fluffy, and when I write the pain in it is EXTREMELY painful XD, they seem to enjoy it so that's always pleasing to hear!
I hope they'll enjoy this story as much as I am writing it, even if I make myself sad at times.

(1:30 AM Mon.) A stray, young female pitbull showed up at our house a couple days ago. A neighbor took her to the vet to see if there were tags and there were none on her, she does have a collar, but no one has come to claim her so my baby brother has been taking care of her. She's honestly a very well behaved dog, you can tell she's house trained as she obeys commands really well and even whimpers to let us know she needs to use the bathroom or is hungry/thirsty.
Our mom has allowed her in the house when it's really hot outside because the poor thing can barely breathe from the temperature sometimes, and she's been sleeping on our house mat during the night. Our baby brother is so cute taking care of Scarlett (I think that's what he's called her) and has even built her an outdoor tent for when it's cool enough for her to be outside, he runs around playing with her and the puppers always comes back whimpering for him if he's not outside to play.
She's so well behaved and our baby brother is so adorable taking care of her...that I kind of want to help him sneak the dog into our new home we are moving to XD. He has already named her and has been doing so well that I'd feel sad for him if our mom dropped her off at the vet/pound/shelter, plus, our mom doesn't want to keep her long as she's allergic to dogs and we aren't supposed to have them here...but again, I don't want our baby brother to feel sad over losing his new friend.
