Your Hidden Problems (Safe Place to Discuss)

Sounds like the good news is the woman wasn't dying. If you loved her that should be enough to move forward. - However, if going by your words alone, she really did have a serious medical condition and the doctor told her she was going to die soon, it may have been her mercy to tell you that she never loved you back. - It could have been the best solution to an already depressing outcome. By your own admission you were heavily reliant on this woman for fulfillment. With her health deteriorating she probably worried it'd completely destroy you as a person if you actually watched her die. - We all think we can handle watching a loved one perish, but depending on the relationship that can be far more punishment than simply being told politely to fuck off! - Again, I don't know all the reality of events. I know only what you shared. - What I can say for certain is that your life is worth living the best way only you can. - Continue to love the experience of getting to know a woman. Even though people are flawed and when facing certain extreme conditions they make decisions that don't seem like the best. - If you truly loved this woman then there was never any doubt about the kind of man you are and will be.

I'm very sorry to hear everything everyone said since I was gone but I hope you all find peace and happiness in your lifetimes and overcome anything and everything even though at times life is very depressing and sad but life is worth living to the fullest even with those trials and tests life is filled with. I'm very sorry tho and know it wasn't easy for you guys to open up with what you all said and I almost myself didn't say what I said and regret it in some ways cause I think it will cost me friendships on here but things have been much better for me and that episode I had wasn't as much of a setback as it was in my early 20's. It went away very quickly and it hasn't resurfaced since because I was trying to delay taking my meds for awhile cause they make me oversleep but my doc reduced the dose for my next prescription so I won't oversleep and till I get it I will break them in half to sleep less and things have been well for me with that. I want to live a full life tho and not let it hold me back in any way so I'll keep at it and keep moving forward...Gabriel, by the way thank you for being in this thread and talking to me and other people as well and giving your point of view. You are very kind and very happy you are on MO. Hope things get better for you guys and time heals you all. I don't know if this will help but when I was 18 years old till my mid-twenties I went through severe depression and my hopes were shattered and didn't wanna do anything really but when I thought things couldn't get any lower I found outlets to improve being so sad that I never thought about before to get my mind off of my problems. I started to write, attempted drawing, listen to better music with better lyrics that made me feel better and other things that slowly made me feel happier but also the help from family which I know not everyone has so I'm grateful for them but if you don't have help from family or friends for comfort and advice, then maybe trying a new hobby or a couple and see if it helps with lifting you up a bit. Thinking about something new helps with forgetting some of the past or at least it did for me. Sorry if my advice isn't helpful at all but I hope it helps. I know your problems are all different but hope it'll help even if it's just a lil bit....
