There's a new doc on Netflix about 4Chan. I got like 45 mins in only though. Kinda interesting how it appears that the nazis everyone was afraid of on 4Chan were just a bunch of emboldened shut ins, nerds and otakus. I'm not saying real nazis didn't rear for real, but much of it was just them pushing boundaries to see what they could get away with. I'm at the point where the factions are appearing and looks to be around the time Occupy was starting.

Yeah a lot of people on 4chan were just shut ins, nerds and otakus. A whole lot of people there were more anarchist-oriented as opposed to fascist even. However there definitely was a change, /pol/ is now a cesspool of Hitler posters, Russia simps, and maniacs. I stopped using 4chan regularly long before the chuds took over so idk really now how it went down but already back then there was a lot of pushbacks against those hoi4 playing edgelords

The current state of electoral mockeries we call “politics” have essentially destroyed our capacity for us humans beings to have an alternative form of life that can be beneficial for all. So many people in power (Wether in the state, private interests) have to altered terms to make their own definitions of them popular to the public and make people apathetic about our world and the current 6th mass extinction event that is currently murdering our species. I rarely talk about my political views in general because most people lost how to connect and understand people beyond political labels. It’s always about “What's your Ideology?” Or “What do you think about X or Y?” Most people don’t understand any of the words they use ether. Name me one person in your daily life who you think understands words like “Democracy” “Conservatism” “Communism” “Anarchism” “Beaurocracy” “Socialism” “Capitalism” “Facism” “Libertarianism” “Progressivism” “Corpotocracy” and the most notorious example “Liberalism” I get tired and frankly pissed off that we live in an age where we can have the capacity to research and understand how, and why people think the ways they do, even if we disagree with it or think it’s very destructive. But we’ve been conditioned to trust people who we don’t even know personally, who control and will continue to control our lives like we’re animals in cages. Even if it’s invisible, it’s still a cage. There’s so many reasons as to why I decided to become Anarchist Ajacent, but one of them would have to be the continuation of abelism in modern life, especially in the so called United States. I hate that we’re still treated like a commodity, something inhuman, or in general, applying economic labels like “value” to determine who I am as a person. I've never liked living in modern life. But it doesn’t mean that I can’t make progress to the things I do and care for.

Why is campaigning so... non existent this year? Isn't voting due in like 5 months in the US? Do they just leave it all to social media and the internet in general now? Where are the debates?

Dems can’t make Biden look bad, so they’ve all been whipped. Republicans are such a mess there’s literally nobody else out there but Mr. 0-34.

He's as painfully centrist as you can get, and it still confounds my ass how the right can still pretend he's anything close to a communist. The dude's too pro-corporate for me. But from a foreign policy standard, I'd rather have him in for another 4 years, and so would a lot of pro military republicans who actually give a shit about Ukraine. Trump lost them when he openly declared he'd return to kissing Putin's ass and throw Ukraine under the bus fist chance he gets.
