Coffee Secrets/ What's the technique?

I received a coffee maker for my Birthday but I want to know how to make a damn good cup of brown Joe!
I know there is an art to the amount of ground to water ratio.
Also the type of bean and how it is grounded also effect the taste.
So what are your thoughts? Anything a novice should know?
Is there any great tasting blends I should try?

It all comes down to personal taste. You now have the power to learn how you want your coffee. In my personal experience, it was just trial and error until I figured out how I liked my coffee and how to make it. Sorry for no real “list adding” math or anything fancy

I see. Well I have had bottle coffee before and some cappuccino blend drinks. I can say I don't mind cream but I have a taste for black as well.
Question...
What does frothing milk do exactly?
My machine comes with one but I don't know what to do with it.

Tom Petty loved coffee was always in search of the perfect cup. He found it at some random cafe somewhere [not important]. He asked the chef how they made it, what the secret was. It apparently was Maxwell House made as instructed by the directions.
Personally, I'm a fan of starbucks Blond and Veranda Blend. The longer beans are roasted, the less caffeine they have. Therefore, blond and breakfast blends typically have more caffiene.

Heat your milk up. The frother agitates the milk so that it blends air into it, making it foamy. You can make cappuccinos or lattes.

Is it the Ninja Coffee Bar? https://m.ninjakitchen.com/recipes/search/0/all/100772/french-vanilla-iced-coffee/
There should be some recipes in the booklet it came with but they have some on the website too.

I tried mixing hazelnut creamer with frothed almond milk in dark roast Maxwell House.
Still not perfect and has some odd after tastes, yet it is a far cry better than my first attempt.
Black is not bad either.
