Oh man, there is a lot of bad news this year. For those that don't follow the stock market there has been a complete collapse of the government's available treasury bonds. It's pretty much a representation of how much money our government has. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/collapse-treasury-bonds-now-ranks-223540520.html It's about a 50% sell off right now, which about matches 2007, the year before the massive stock market crash.

With the abhorrent attack on Israel from Hamas, we are starting to get a clearer image of how countries against the West are coming together. They know the US can't protect everyone all at once. Iran and Russia are becoming even closer as now an all out war has opened up in the middle east again. I had a strong feeling that Israel would be attacked as soon as the US is fully invested elsewhere. -Russia first attacks Ukraine marking the 3rd territory it has invaded since 2008 -Iran waits for an opportune time and then funds Hamas in a surprise attack against their enemy Israel Now we have the 3rd adversary to the West, China. They are playing the long game. They are waiting until the US is more tired of war and will invade Taiwan. Experts predict that it will be around 2029 when they will invade but I believe it will be much sooner than that. Here is what China might be waiting for: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KEgY8FR51o Trump is no fan of Taiwan and might be more willing to cut a deal with China. It's pretty obvious at this point that he is the front runner. One thing for certain. If you have so many wars going on in the world at once it doesn't take long for a spark to turn into a fire. If history tales the tale, I'm worried about the future.

@arc not quite, so the military predicts 2027 at the year we may go to war with china. Im not entirely sure why that is, but based off intelligence and briefings i have been getting, they are pushing hard in the indopacific region. This is well coordinated, some people believe that the hamas attack is just trying to cripple their defenses enough for iran to step in and do their thing. With our president basically funding them by handing over momey for hostages. Russia has been funding terrorists in the middle east for years, they would place bounties on US soldiers in the middle east. I sincerely think China's invasion of the Taiwanese isnt so much them trying to wear us down. While yes we have been playing police for multiple countries they can see our presence in their area of operation and they know we have been getting countries in that region to prepare themselves. They have also made pushes in their own economy to prepare for war. With the tough job market in the inner-city locations they are trying to force chinese citizens into rural areas and they have begun policing the farmers in china to start growing crops they deem necessary. The stuff going on woth Israel is unfortunate, but i dont believe it is over. All their enemies are gonna attack them very soon, it only makes sense. They are already asking for help with the iron dome and securing more equipment. They are trying to overwhelm israel and taking citizens as hostages so they dont attack the missle facilities forcing them to have to send ground troops instead. This was well coordinated.

Also about defending taiwan, im gonna be honest you are gonna see alot of American soldiers die. I dont really believe its possible to defend Taiwan. As much as i would love to save Taiwan from china, i feel we are too late to the table. With all this focus on Russia russia russia and Ukraine, we are only now turning our heads to china. Its too late, they had years to prepare, they have missle defenses, more navy than us, advanced weaponry, they can allocate as much money toward military while we fight over budget stuff and cut funding from military. The military budget cuts im afraid come at the cost of experience. The way the military works is completely dumb. While i get buying equipment is important. You also need manpower, and the military is currently pushing to get rid of people, they intend to use promotion rates for that. Whole it wouldnt matter in the end because they can just draft people back in. If i got kicked out tomorrow because i didnt make promotion (technically i would get kicked out of the military if i dont promote by 2027) but lets say im kicked out tomorrow and we go to war with china in 2027. Thats 4 years i havent been training with the military, while i know the basics im basically gonna have to be brought up to speed on tactics, training, health, all that. Our focus should have been china like 5-10 years ago. But no we were completely focused on the russian boogeyman and currently still focused on them with ukraine and now we cant fight china. To defend taiwan its kind of impossible. We cant launch an attack on china but they can launch an attack anytime they want. We are playing around them. Plus we dont have troops and equipment where we need it, its not like in the middle east where we had years to build bases and operate out of that area. We basically shouldnt defend taiwan. Reclaiming taiwan seems more plausible than defending it.

@hell_hound7 The last war simulation video I saw about China invading Taiwan still claims the US and allies as the victor, but only after a brutal war with heavy losses on both sides. China does have a larger navy, but the ships are outdated and easily susceptible to drone strikes. The thing is, if the US gets involved with a non-Nato ally it will be an extremely costly war. While it really sucks for Taiwan, we don't have a contractual alliance with them. The US could spend all the money and resources instead building up a semi-conductor hub of our own so China can't strangle the world out of semiconductors. Take the semi-conductor industry out of Taiwan and bring it here. Yes, it does look weak if the US doesn't stick up for Taiwan but we cant go around swinging justice at every invasion around the world. If we police everywhere all at once we are liable to get knocked out ourselves.

@arc see the current plan or strategy to deal with china, which i cant really say what that is. Its basically gonna leave a bunch of service members to die. Basically whenever you get hit, anticipate help wont be coming for a while. we are gonna be left to our own devices and have to rely on our training and personnel on ground to do their mission regardless of casualties. They are saying at least 100 per day dead. Ofc these are based off simulations and all that. Its crazy to think, i think we would win in the end. But whatever the outcome it will be seen as a loss. We will more than likely be reclaiming taiwan versus defending. Its just the strategic location of taiwan being within China's immediate reach with us being across the world, then moving supplies and troops i cant say much more but its not gonna be easy to get over there. Also our borders arent as safe either so we can expect home to be hit as well.

My company got hacked by this group recently and just today this came out: A group of cyber activists under the Ukrainian Cyber Alliance banner has hacked the servers of the Trigona ransomware gang and wiped them clean after copying all the information available. https://media.tenor.com/Y-453WLsQ5IAAAAC/anime-slam.gif These were the guys that kept hacking our critical infrastructure. I bet Putin is crying now that another one of his hacking minion groups got their cheeks clapped.

This is why cybersecurity is important. Your cybersecurity manager needs to review certain software before pushing it out and disseminating it. Either you guys got hacked through human error, your infrastructure wasnt that secure to begin with, or your software had a zeroday or malware installed. Really learning alot, it really is crazy how much havoc people can wreck by one slip up. Whats even more dangerous is when you have been hacked and dont know it.

https://youtu.be/Gr1Pzx5XSAc So Venezuela run by Socialist dictator, Nicholas Maduro now wants to annex about 2/3rds of Guyanese territory. If war breaks out, I'm sure the same vile apologists for Putin's aggression against Ukraine and Hamas' mass murder of Israeli civilians will be out in force trying to spin this as "Venezuela did nothing wrong." I'm just curious to see what kind of mental gymnastics they'll try to pull off to justify the unjustifiable.
