They actually interviewed this dude on something completely unrelated. At 16 min mark. If one could read minds. "Yeah, I whacked that bitch with that hammer."

https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/is-a-mega-ocean-current-about-to-shut-down/
This is some disturbing news. Scientific studies are now moving the time table for the Atlantic ocean currents to irreversibly start dying to anywhere within 2025 to 2095 at the latest. What happens when the atlantic current collapses? Hope you guys don't need water or food to live, because they predict half the total farmland would become unusable, it will be hard to breathe, there will be a permanent hurricane the size we've never seen before. Plus, the Earth will only be able to support roughly 50% of its current population.
How do we stop this impending disaster? They say we need to cut ALL carbon emissions within the next couple of years. lol

In a way, it's interesting to be a part of humanity as it closes in on its next huge extinction event. However there is good news. Those of us alive today will probably not see the day the ocean current stops completely. It will take decades for it to fully die and send humanity in a death spiral. So guys, enjoy life today because we might be the last generation that will be able to.

God's will is at work. I've not spoken with my cousin in over 20 years after his father's suicide. Due to family issues we were not allowed to have any connections. By the time I was old enough to search for a reconnection he had fallen off the grid with no way to contact him, until last weekend.
Before my uncle's death we were as brothers and did everything together. Biking, wrestling, video games, trouble you name it we did it! What I didn't know until after the funeral was all the abuse he had endured at the hands of his father's neglect. It was exceptionally difficult for myself because I had had a very positive relationship with my uncle before that fated night when his father came directly to me at age 10 to say his goodbyes and then shot himself.
I still remember the last words my uncle said that night. How he was proud of me and wished his own son could've been as myself. That he loved me. Love I imagine my cousin rarely saw from his own father. Love that hurt me because it came from a man obsessed with himself and his own hurt. A false love, but also true because I did in fact love him back even after he pulled that trigger.
It's a fucked up tragedy that sent both of us in polar opposite directions through this bizarre life. Now I have an opportunity to connect once more under the worst circumstance. My cousin was hit by a truck while riding his motorcycle. His skull was fractured along with the right side of his body being crushed. For almost a week my cousin was unconscious. He only regained consciousness a couple days ago about the time I received the phone number to the hospital from a distant relative. I am greatful that he's still alive and know it is by God that he will recover.
Thank the Lord he didn't die in that accident and may this otherwise unexpected tragedy be the catalyst which heals an older wound from a previous affliction! Praise be to Christ!
