Coronavirus. Your thoughts? [Serious and Non-Serious]

@veru i hear they are trying to open back up factories and stuff there. So i assume they are hiding numbers because their economy has been taking a hit ever since this happened.

In other news they just mobilized the army corps of engineers in US to build more medical facilities/quarantine zones. I wonder if they will start moving more military to assist in this or will business go on as usual? XD

They're currently shutting theatres down, again in China. But, this is the internet... Oops... China wouldn't lie about this kind of stuff to save face...Right? China: Guys! No issue! Look away!! Oh shit!!! But, wait. We have it under control... Oops.. Maybe not. Whew... Finally under control... Weeell, maybe we should shut down public functions again, but it's not because of a second wave or anything. Also, it seems like our government (The U.S.) isn't as concerned as it should be, but you didn't hear that from me. Or I should say, not for the right reasons. Again, if there was a mandatory (not gonna happen) public test, you'd see a shit ton more cases.

The US government is conflicted because you have people like trump saying "open up the country" because he is thinking about the economy and not the people. Then you have people who make sense saying that you can bring the economy back but you cant bring back the dead. Americans themseleves (especially the younger folk) dont actually care and go out and party and go to events. If the government were more strict (which again because of trump going the opposite way probably wouldnt happen.) Then this wouldnt be an issue. Our borders should have BEEN monitored months ago when this started. But he claimed it was just a flu nothing to worry about and again claiming he has a cure nothing to worry about.

The end of the more serious discussion is this. Corona is a real disease with serious ailments that should be handled with care. However the spread has already breached all borders making it impossible to run from. All of us will at some point come into contact with the virus. With common sense it should not be something to panic over as stress is more likely to kill than the actual symptoms. If you have children or adults with lung or immunity problems then you will have to go out of your way to make sure they are safe. Though it would be nice to separate everyone into bubbles it just won't happen. Until there is a vaccine I recommend being cautious of handshakes or hugs from anyone. You can get a box from Amazon and go to the store and be fine. Just wash your hands and avoid touching your face. Last but not least, DO NOT PANIC PERIOD! If it is your time to go then fear it not. The best survivors live with confidence that no matter the odds they will make it through. Belief in one's self is a powerful force in everything, doubt is always the killer.

Yarp... And don't y'all dare hold hands!!! As if you guys will get that far. ;P Also, it'll be the better part of a year or so for a vaccine, unfortunately. And I couldn't agree more about not panicking and being smart. Unfortunately, it's not so much the virus (not that it's a joke AT ALL) that'd I'd be most worried about, it'll be over loaded medical systems, we've already seen it elsewhere.
