You're only a freak if you're a normie, which I haven't seen any so far. What kind of anime per say? I have no specific genre (Ok, isekai maybe), but I'm not that picky of a watcher. But I am trying to finish a few series and some current recommended series. Just finished Log Horizon and Dragon Maid and am now watching New Game.

Try spending over more than you would in a whole entire relationship and finding out that your girl is never going to see you because the fact that life kicked her in the ass and made her sit put because the fact that she has limit so and where she wants to go and ended up becoming a lesbian. we all have problems men and if you ever need somebody to talk to this place is the right place to go. Facebook or tacos are not going to help you they're just going to make you feel worse and people on social media is just going to make you feel less of a man so all I can say is this place is the right place to speak your mind and show how you feel.

Sorry about the awful situation , since I am not much good with advice I will just echo what Baka said. I am sure most of the people here would be fine with getting a friend request; just remember that everyone is at a different place in their life and might not have too much free time at the moment. Other than that, my advice is to search out some of the ways to interact with people on the site (the random threads, discord channels, online meetups that sometimes appear in the meetup/conferences forum), searching out and interacting with people will make it easier to form those connections.

OP All you can do is move on, make friends and really I'd suggest limiting online interactions and trying more for offline interaction with people. Everyone is right, it's not your fault and there was nothing you could do. Sure, be sad, cry a little and vent. But, find a healthy outlet that involves not dwelling or being alone to sit in despair.
