Comic Girls

Seems this was getting a lot of hate from a few people I know who feel there's too much meta anime these days, or rather anime about the making of anime/manga. There's a fair bit of the stuff out there sure, but it doesn't feel as played out to me as other themes that still manage to be popular after having been done to death. That aside, it's a petty decent and cute anime. Nothing fantastic of course but it's entertaining enough. Main girl's moe as hell when upset, kinda makes you wanna tease them lol. The whole boob grab and subsequent joke scene did feel a bit out of place though, and I legit feel sorry for that girl. All she wanted to do was make something cute and innocent for kids but got pushed into making porn instead, and it's clearly messing with her mind too.

This gave me the impression of cute girls doing cute things, but in a different setting. I kinda stopped watching those kind of show some seasons ago. I got burnt out from that. I'll wait to see how it goes during some weeks before considering to watch it.

Idk why, but it felt like kind of a refreshing take on the genre. It sure doesn't look or sound any different from the generic trash, but there was something special about it. It was definitely enjoyable and the interactions between the girls seemed genuine. Though one thing I didn't like is that Chaos-chan played the "critically-awkward" card way too much. Like I get it is part of her personality, but I really wish she explicitly showed that she was more comfortable being with the other girls after a couple of episodes. But yeah, I would definitely say it was a sleeper hit of the season for me

I'm planning to watch it sine it looks interesting. I guess to be fair, seeing almost the same thing , every season, will get tedious over time. Just read the description beforehand so you'll know what genre it is.

That show is pretty different than other "I want to be a great this and that" - I like the 4 girls, each girl has an exciting persona.
