Random thoughts...

Honestly got the shudders from hearing someone killed a dog and stuffed him in a suitcase. Some vile people out there.

God's kept humbling me these past few days. I keep getting help from unlikely places and from those I've struggled with no less. It puts me in a strange place, however I should take all this as an opportunity to learn. I thank Christ for the assist no matter from whom He sends it. On another subject, I spoke with my uncle who lives in Vermont to thank him for helping to take care of both of my aunts who are no longer of the Earth. It wasn't easy on him being as he's getting towards the end of his own days too. Yet he, like my father, are men of action rather than words. They'll put themselves out if it helps someone else. For better or worse I have genuine admiration for his efforts. Sadly I can't repay, yet I know he wouldn't accept it if I offered. Sometimes we help others for the sake of it. That's what life is about. Christ be with him.

Cooked red lentils look offputting but man their delicious cooked in some broth. I shouldv'e made some black beans as well :( Wouldve gone well with the chicken too

Egypt was robbed of a fair game against Argentina today. Should've gone to OT with 3-3 and VAR shouldn't have nullified their 2nd goal. Ggs Egypt, you did well

on a city forum today i logged on and someone messaged me saying are you 12? i said im 15. i said something he didnt like about sea level rise and starebase. he said Seriously? We'll have humans on Titan before the next ice age. Starbase is just fine.

It hits and hurts the heart to hear my parents sing to my daughter on the phone... I've not a single memory of that for me nor my siblings and I would give the world to have had the same just once. Happy they do that for her, though.
