Would free condoms handle prevent teen pregnancy?

well the thing is most of the school system in america just promotes abstinence and cover a small portion of stds, it's kinda just slapped on and people just see it as something easy to ace. The teacher basically throws free condoms at you at the end and be like don't get pregnant, and i'm like gee thanks for that after all that abstinence talk.

@XY pfft. really? The US is a glorified 3rd world country when it comes to education

In the UK you can get free condoms from youth clubs and support centres and I don't think it helped considering 2 or 3 of my classmates had got preggers before the start of sixth form.

@Kichi - It is sad there are 3rd world countries that beat the US in math and science. @xy The US is fairly liberal but not as progressive as Canada or the EU in some ways. We had a sexual revolution in the 1960s and lots of liberation's but education did not adapt and badly lags behind now as the pace of the world accelerates. Our traditional values, even diminished these days, still place a lot of stigma and shame on sexuality instead of understanding nature and teaching people how to manage it. Then they wonder why people make poor choices who were left to their own devices and chances ill prepared for what happens.
