Would free condoms handle prevent teen pregnancy?

are condoms that expensive? Teens arent involved in unwanted pregnancies because of condoms not being available right? Its not even the lack of basic education. People learn everything from the internet and they have articles everywhere. It's probably just recklessness, blindly giving into temptation or personal disregard for consequence. That's what needs to be rectified.

It's literally an issue of lack of education. Talk to any doctor and they'll likely have a story about how someone (adults, even, not always teens) had to go see them because they don't understand sex. One of my friends is a high school teacher and a student came to her crying because she gave her boyfriend a blowjob and thought she was going to get pregnant. Another one of her students was selling condoms because the other kids didn't know how to get them any other way. They think that birth control pills cause abortions and that you get STDs from having sex too much, regardless of the number of partners you have or what kind of protection you use. Anyone remember Spring Awakening? How the girl got pregnant because she literally did not know what sex was or that she had even had it? That is something that happens in the US in this day and age.

I can't imagine that. In Belgium kids get sex education in school at the age of 11-12, and a seconds time at the age of 13-14.

Sex education in the USA is sporadic and mediocre. Boys learn more about sex these days watching internet porn which is horrible for interpersonal relationships. Good sex education would help reduce the teen birth rate but wouldn't stop it. Guys just don't like using condoms, including myself. It's physically and psychologically much more satisfying to unload deep into a girl. I've also known plenty of girls that prefer that too. You just have to be aware and willing to deal with potential consequences.
