Clingy people, turn on/off?

I was the clingy one in a past relationship. Thinking back at it now I realize how unattractive it actually was. It's funny that at the time it felt pretty normal.

My ex girlfriend was pretty much the exact opposite of clingy, to the point where I sort of wished that she was. I think there's probably a good balance, everyone likes some space (or maybe most, I don't know).

Aww! That's a little sad. I think that getting little to no affection or attention from a significant other would be worst than getting too much of it.

I always get clingy with people I like alot, but then I realize it and try my best to play it cool and not cling as much. So much work to not say things like: I really want to hang out with you. Or I wish you would be with me more then ur other friends. Lol self control is important, don't cling too much...just a little o.o
