never fitting in...

yunoxyukki
have you ever felt like you didn't belong? like your never able to fit in? or that your sort of a loner or an outcast? i feel this way sometimes tbh. many times i find myself doing stuff just to try and fit in with a group that i normally wouldnt do. but because i dont wanna be the loner and an outcast i try being someone im not. https://49.media.tumblr.com/095ba023b516a10b35d1fb634a3df3c3/tumblr_o13rh0ic5E1ry5urko1_500.gif but even then i still feel like i dont quite fit in and i feel fake in a way. but because i want people to notice me i try hard anyway. if your here to criticize or try to say something smart, please keep your opinion to yourself.

TBH, I usually feel like an outcast even hanging with a group of outcasts. Like here I'm older than everyone and pretty much get typecast as the dirty old man whether I want to or not. Like I would rather be a young girl anyway. Or I used to hang out with the goth crowd when I was younger but I never got a ton of piercings and tattoos and did all the popular drugs so I never fit in their either. Like I was never extreme enough to fit with a particular group or was older than most of the people because most people my age aren't into the things I like.

Well, I feel like I don't belong anywhere. Before coming here, I used to visit all these tech forums before they shutdown. After that, I tried to adapt to other groups besides technology but failed. I don't have the same interests most people in my age group do. I don't party. Parties are pretty boring to me. Clubs are lame to me. Movies are quite shit to me because I already expect what happens/the outcome but the content is also quite garbage. That is also why I hardly watch Anime but I enjoy it sometimes. I'm just not interested in other things besides technology. I'm not considering myself some tech guru/wizard but it's just a passion I have and my area of comfort at most.

@Syn, I used to hang out at xtremesystems forums with all the gamers and overclockers but I'm too poor to hang with that crowd. I don't have the tools/money to break out LN2 and show off a 7ghz Pentium. I do hang out at headfi because I'm an audiophile with nice headphones and a cheap tube amp.

I feel like an outcast/loner all the time. It used to bother me all the time when I was younger. I even tried joining clubs or doing spontaneous activities to get friends. Now I have accepted it and I actually prefer it now. I enjoy being a shadow or figment of people's imagination. Keeps me from having to interact with people.

I do feel like that sometimes, but that's just because I'm actually really quiet and introverted, there's like only one person IRL that I can have a proper conversation with (other than small talk, god I hate small talk) Which I don't really mind. I'd rather have one good friend who understands me than hundreds that don't even know me really and don't bother to ask. I do find it weird I can't have a proper conversations with others, I'm usually really just forcing myself to say something.

I sometimes feel this way. I've always been considered different and not really fitting in a group. But I get along with a lot of different kinds of people. I don't really have specific group. It does get lonely though. But this song always helps me feel better. I am the only one and that's what makes me special. http://data.whicdn.com/images/16761547/original.jpg lol I love Tigger xD

I've never really felt like I belonged anywhere. I'm more of an adapter though. I adapt to the crowd I'm in at the time usually. Just so I can at least blend in with the crowd and go unnoticed. Put up my hood and slip through the crowds looking for my target. Oh wait... we're not talking about work o.o. But no really, I don't ever feel like I really belong with most crowds. I have my close friends that understand me and get me. But there are very very few people that actually know how I feel when it comes down to it, and understand why I am the way I am. At least that I've met in person. And it can be rough. But honestly, its okay in the end. I don't like to stick out, or blend in too much. I kinda just fade in to the background for the average person. And that works for me ^.^ Also, you get a plus for Akihito >.>

Yes, but I've learned some types of people you're better off not fitting in with.
